Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Area Sales Director based in the United States.

This is a launch-focused sales leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance across a multi-state Southeast territory.

You will build and lead a high-performing field organization while establishing the culture, standards, and execution model needed for a successful product launch.

The role combines talent acquisition, field coaching, territory strategy, data-driven selling, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will engage with Eye Care Professionals and their practices to translate clinical evidence and product value into meaningful adoption and sustained growth.

Success will depend on your ability to turn market data and field insights into decisive action while maintaining rigorous compliance and ethical standards.

You will operate in a fast-moving environment where ambiguity, change, and continuous improvement are part of the day-to-day experience.

This opportunity is ideal for an accomplished sales leader who thrives on building teams, developing talent, and delivering measurable results during a major commercial launch.

    • Develop territory and account strategies, coverage models, call cadences, routing plans, goals, and resource allocation approaches to maximize commercial impact.
    • Lead launch execution across the Southeast territory, adapting field strategy as market conditions, customer needs, and business priorities evolve.
    • Conduct regular field rides and one-on-one coaching sessions to assess representative capabilities, identify development opportunities, and provide specific, actionable feedback.
    • Develop individualized performance and development plans while modeling compliant, evidence-based selling behaviors.
    • Drive achievement of sales targets and activity metrics, maintaining ownership of commitments and addressing performance gaps proactively.
    • Use data and clinical evidence to guide sales conversations around patient selection, product expectations, safety, onset and duration, and practice workflow integration.
    • Support the adoption of an out-of-pocket therapy by helping practices and sales teams effectively use patient education and appropriate starter resources.
    • Share field intelligence and customer insights with national leadership to help refine commercial strategy, launch execution, and sales processes.
    • Partner closely with Sales Training, Marketing, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to prioritize needs and execute shared business objectives.
    • Lead teams through launch milestones, market expansion, operational changes, and process improvements while maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance.
    • Remove operational barriers, make informed decisions in ambiguous situations, and continuously improve territory and team performance.
    • Requirements

      • 6+ years of documented success in sales, with pharmaceutical, medical, biotechnology, or closely related commercial experience strongly valued.

      • Ability to travel regularly to customer and client sites and operate effectively in a remote or hybrid working environment.
