Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Associate Clinical Director - Oncology based in United States.

The Associate Clinical Director will serve as a lead clinician and engagement manager supporting patients and families navigating serious and complex oncology and hematology conditions.

Working remotely from a home office, you will combine advanced clinical expertise with curiosity, empathy, and persistent problem-solving to improve patient outcomes.

You will collaborate with clinicians, medical researchers, care coordinators, and external specialists to identify opportunities beyond the standard of care.

The role involves coordinating complex cases, evaluating diagnostic and treatment options, and connecting clients with leading experts and specialized resources.

You will act as a trusted guide through a complicated healthcare system while delivering highly personalized clinical education and support.

This is an opportunity to influence care at the individual patient level while contributing to a collaborative, science-driven approach to complex medical decision-making.

Accountabilities:

    • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and families by serving as their clinical guide throughout complex healthcare journeys, coordinating care, facilitating access to leading diagnostic and therapeutic options, and helping them navigate the healthcare system.
    • Provide high-level clinical management, education, and guidance to clients and families with compassion, sound judgment, and a strong focus on achieving the best possible health outcomes.
    • Assess complex oncology and hematology cases to identify the key clinical questions, unresolved issues, and opportunities where additional expertise, diagnostics, or treatment approaches may improve the care plan.
    • Collaborate closely with clinicians, PhD scientists, care coordinators, and other members of the care team to research medical conditions, medications, therapies, clinical trials, and emerging treatment options.
    • Identify and engage leading external specialists and key opinion leaders, building relationships that facilitate access to specialized expertise and support optimal care decisions.
    • Coordinate collaboration with external providers and interdisciplinary resources, articulating clinical needs clearly and participating in internal team discussions and case rounds.
    • Explore specialized diagnostic approaches and treatment possibilities that can provide greater clarity around underlying disease mechanisms and expand options beyond the current standard of care.
    • Manage or guide other clinical staff as needed in connection with specific cases or service lines, ensuring coordinated execution and high-quality clinical support.
    • Requirements:

      • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in your current home state is required.
      • At least 5 years of clinical experience managing complex medical conditions in an oncology and/or hematology environment where advanced assessment, clinical judgment, and critical thinking are essential.
      • Demonstrated ability to manage complex patient situations while identifying nuanced clinical issues, evaluating alternatives, and pursuing solutions beyond the most obvious answer.
      • Exceptional client-facing communication skills, including strong executive-level written and verbal communication, impeccable attention to detail, excellent organization, and a highly professional demeanor when working under pressure.
      • A strong sense of clinical curiosity and intellectual initiative, with the ability to investigate complex problems creatively, challenge assumptions, and collaborate effectively with others.
      • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, specialists, researchers, and interdisciplinary teams.
      • Technological proficiency and comfort working across multiple digital platforms to document clinical work, coordinate cases, research information, and communicate with colleagues efficiently.
      • A highly proactive, accountable, and persistent approach to work, with a willingness to do what is necessary to move complex cases and client needs forward.
      • Additional experience combining oncology expertise with another complex clinical discipline is considered a significant advantage.
      • Benefits:

        • Target base salary of $135,000-$140,000 USD, with individual compensation potentially varying based on factors such as experience, location, market conditions, and other relevant considerations.
        • Annual cash incentive program providing additional performance-based compensation.
        • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
        • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
        • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO).
        • Fully remote work environment, with the ability to work from a home office in the United States.
        • Opportunity to support individuals and families facing serious and complex medical conditions while helping them access highly personalized, evidence-informed care.
        • Collaborative exposure to clinicians, medical researchers, care coordinators, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
        • Meaningful opportunity to apply advanced oncology and clinical expertise to complex cases and influence patient care beyond conventional pathways.
