As a Cloud Infrastructure Senior Manager, you will lead complex technology consulting engagements spanning cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise systems. You will work directly with senior client stakeholders to identify risks, solve challenging business problems, and design practical technology strategies. The role combines strategic consulting and business development with hands-on technical discovery, architecture, and implementation. You will oversee project delivery while building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities to expand client partnerships. You will also mentor technical teams, strengthen their capabilities, and foster a collaborative culture focused on quality and innovation. Accountabilities:
- Lead technology consulting engagements across cloud infrastructure, networking, security, systems, and enterprise technology environments, overseeing successful delivery against project plans.
- Partner with C-level executives, system owners, and business stakeholders to identify risks, understand requirements, and develop technology strategies that address complex business challenges.
- Design, build, migrate, secure, and remediate infrastructure and cloud environments while balancing strategic planning with hands-on technical execution when required.
- Provide technical leadership across enterprise networking, server and storage infrastructure, virtualization, cloud platforms, endpoint management, backup and continuity solutions, and related technologies.
- Assess existing environments, document previously undocumented systems and processes, create architecture and dependency maps, and develop actionable remediation or modernization plans.
- Translate business, compliance, regulatory, and continuity requirements into practical technical architectures and configurations.
- Support technology integration initiatives, including post-merger or acquisition environments, application rationalization, dependency mapping, and infrastructure transformation.
- Lead project teams through planning, execution, delivery, and review while providing mentoring, coaching, performance development, and technical guidance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and the broader business community, serving as a trusted technology advisor.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities by translating client challenges into new solutions, proposals, and potential engagements.
- Contribute to thought leadership, technical knowledge sharing, training initiatives, design reviews, and collaboration across consulting teams.
- Manage relationships with third-party hardware, software, and service vendors and support effective integration of external solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience delivering technology or consulting solutions.
- 7+ years of experience in professional services, technology consulting, infrastructure, or a related field.
- Recent hands-on experience designing, deploying, administering, or securing Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong enterprise networking experience, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN segmentation, routing, switching, wireless, and enterprise network architecture.
- Working familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as enterprise networking, security, server, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with technologies and vendors across areas such as Cisco, Meraki, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Dell, HPE, and related enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise storage, including DAS, SAN, NAS, and protocols such as iSCSI, CIFS, Fibre Channel, and NFS.
- Experience with infrastructure management practices including capacity planning, performance analysis, VM/server right-sizing, patch and vulnerability management, monitoring, logging, and endpoint or RMM platforms.
- Strong scripting capabilities for administrative and operational purposes, preferably using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other Linux shell scripting languages.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and familiarity with Exchange or Google Workspace is beneficial.
- Experience designing or remediating environments against regulatory or security frameworks such as PCI-DSS, CMMC, or NIST 800-53.
- Experience developing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, dependency maps, and operational procedures from incomplete or undocumented environments.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies and experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, replication, or infrastructure resilience solutions is preferred.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop professional networks, identify business development opportunities, and communicate risks and technical challenges effectively to senior executives.
- Excellent written and verbal English, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to move quickly between strategic planning and hands-on technical work.
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or DevOps Engineer Expert are strongly preferred.
- Base salary range of $146,000-$234,000 USD, with placement depending on experience, skills, and geographic work location.
- Annual bonus target opportunity of 14%, with eligible employees potentially receiving additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation.
- Estimated total cash compensation range of $166,440-$266,760 USD, based on the stated salary range and bonus target.
