Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Community and Member Advocacy Manager based in the United States.

As a Community and Member Advocacy Manager, you will help strengthen a growing member community through meaningful relationships, engaging experiences, and authentic storytelling. This part-time contract role combines community management, member events, advocacy, and social engagement. You will work directly with members and ambassadors to build connections, coordinate local meet-ups, and foster conversations across digital channels. You will also identify compelling member experiences that can support broader communications, marketing, and growth initiatives. The role is highly collaborative and ideal for someone who is energized by people, organized in execution, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. Over a focused 12-week sprint, your work will directly contribute to expanding community participation and turning engaged members into long-term advocates.

Accountabilities:

    • Support the day-to-day management of a member meet-up program designed to foster peer-to-peer connection and support through local activities and gatherings.
    • Recruit, onboard, and support members interested in organizing local meet-ups.
    • Coordinate outreach campaigns, event communications, RSVPs, follow-ups, calendars, waivers, contact lists, and other program documentation.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for highly engaged members and meet-up organizers.
    • Evaluate program performance and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, participation, and scalability.
    • Manage ongoing community engagement across social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, YouTube, and TikTok.
    • Respond to member questions, comments, and direct messages with a warm, thoughtful, and consistent voice.
    • Escalate member support matters through established community-care processes and track cases through resolution.
    • Identify recurring member questions, feedback, and trends and share relevant insights with Communications and Member teams.
    • Follow community guidelines and privacy standards, moving sensitive conversations into appropriate private support channels when necessary.
    • Identify members with compelling health journeys who may be suitable for marketing, PR, events, conferences, or other communications initiatives.
    • Coordinate member outreach, storytelling intake, marketing waivers, approvals, and ongoing communications.
    • Maintain an organized and searchable library of member stories, testimonials, permissions, waivers, and approved assets.
    • Nurture relationships with promising member advocates beyond individual campaigns or story requests.
    • Work toward activating 15 new ambassadors and launching member meet-ups in 10 new priority markets during the contract period.
    • Help increase meaningful community engagement through timely and thoughtful interactions across channels.
    • Identify and activate approximately 25+ new members for cross-channel initiatives such as PR stories, conferences, events, and marketing content.
    • Use AI tools proactively to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and increase individual and team efficiency.
    • Requirements:

      • 3-5 years of experience coordinating community programs, ambassador programs, customer events, or similar relationship-driven initiatives.
      • Demonstrated experience working directly with customers or members in a community, customer success, advocacy, events, or relationship-focused capacity.
      • Experience supporting marketing campaigns, customer storytelling initiatives, testimonials, or advocacy programs.
      • Genuine interest in health, wellness, community building, and helping people develop meaningful connections.
      • Experience managing online communities, social media engagement, or customer care workflows.
      • Familiarity with platforms such as Sprout Social, Google Workspace, program management applications, and tracking or monitoring tools such as Amplitude or Ahrefs.
      • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple events, conversations, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate warmly and professionally across different audiences.
      • Comfortable navigating sensitive health-related conversations with empathy, discretion, sound judgment, and respect for privacy.
      • Ability to follow privacy and security procedures when handling sensitive or health-related information.
      • Proactive, ownership-oriented approach with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
      • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to build trust with members and community advocates.
      • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities may evolve and experimentation is encouraged.
      • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools proactively to improve work quality, productivity, and efficiency.
      • Alignment with a people-first, low-ego, transparent, evidence-based, and impact-oriented working style.
      • Benefits:

        • Estimated hourly compensation of $45-$50 per hour, with starting pay determined by qualifications and experience.
        • Part-time contract engagement of approximately 20 hours per week.
        • 12-week contract focused on high-impact community and member advocacy initiatives.
        • Fully remote working environment.
        • Opportunity to build and scale member community programs across multiple markets.
        • Hands-on experience across community management, events, advocacy, social engagement, storytelling, and marketing.
        • Opportunity to work cross-functionally with Communications, Marketing, Member, and other internal teams.
        • Meaningful opportunity to help members share their experiences and strengthen connections within a supportive community.
        • Collaborative culture centered on ownership, transparency, curiosity, continuous improvement, and positive impact.
        • Opportunity to leverage modern technology and AI tools to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
        • Remote-first organization with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco.
        • Access to a mission-driven environment focused on improving health outcomes and helping people create meaningful connections.
