Deltek System Support Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Deltek System Support Analyst based in United States.

The Deltek System Support Analyst will serve as a key subject matter expert for enterprise business applications, with a primary focus on Deltek Vision and future VantagePoint deployments.

The role combines hands-on system support, configuration, troubleshooting, data quality management, reporting, documentation, and end-user training.

You will partner closely with users, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve application effectiveness.

A major focus will be maintaining accurate, secure, and reliable financial, accounting, and payroll data across system modules.

You will also contribute to application rollouts, integrations, process improvements, automation initiatives, and new functionality.

Success requires strong analytical thinking, organization, communication, customer service, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.

Accountabilities

• Serve as the primary system support resource for the Deltek Vision environment, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and software providers as needed.
• Provide functional support, troubleshooting, guidance, and training to end users across Deltek Vision.
• Assess user needs, identify recurring issues, and proactively recommend tools, features, and solutions that improve system effectiveness.
• Monitor and improve data quality and integrity by analyzing system information, validating data, and verifying business processes for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and controls covering system changes, user security updates, functionality, configurations, and operating procedures.
• Support the planning, configuration, testing, organization, and deployment of future application rollouts, including VantagePoint.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and additional system functionality to increase efficiency.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Deltek Vision and contribute expertise to future enterprise application initiatives.
• Collaborate with application leadership on requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, training, deployment, and feature updates.
• Provide support for systems integration initiatives and help ensure effective connectivity between enterprise applications.
• Develop working knowledge of additional business applications, including UKG and Newforma, and identify opportunities to leverage technology investments more effectively.
• Monitor emerging developments and anticipate future trends in application integration within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expert-level knowledge of Deltek Vision, including system configuration, security, troubleshooting, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Experience providing help desk, technical, and functional application support with a strong customer-service mindset.
• Solid understanding of computer networking concepts and enterprise application environments.
• Experience managing multiple projects, assignments, and priorities both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong commitment to data quality and integrity, including the ability to validate personal work and review the accuracy of others’ work.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, multitasking, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly process and correlate information, communicate findings, and make appropriate risk-based decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
• Expert proficiency with Deltek Vision and working proficiency with SQL Server 2019.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, charts, VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and formatting; basic proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Deltek VantagePoint is preferred, along with experience with Tableau, Power BI, UKG/UltiPro, or Newforma.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and confidentiality, particularly when handling financial, accounting, and payroll information.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently with periodic supervision.
