This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor Inteligência Artificial Pleno based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity for a mid-level developer to contribute directly to the development of an innovative Artificial Intelligence solution for processing medical-occupational documents. You will help build and evolve applications that combine software engineering, APIs, data processing, system integrations, and AI-related technologies. The role offers hands-on exposure to Python, Django, FastAPI, JavaScript, SQL databases, OCR, and document-processing workflows. You will work closely with technical and business teams to translate complex rules and requirements into reliable solutions. The environment encourages problem-solving, continuous improvement, and practical innovation. This is a fully remote, project-based opportunity with the potential for contract renewal.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and continuously improve an Artificial Intelligence solution focused on processing medical-occupational documents.
• Build and maintain applications using Python and Django.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance APIs using FastAPI and RESTful architecture.
• Create and maintain integrations between different systems, applications, and services.
• Develop application features and interfaces using JavaScript.
• Process, structure, organize, and make information available across different workflows and systems.
• Translate business rules, procedures, standards, and operational manuals into application logic.
• Develop mechanisms for error identification, handling, monitoring, and control.
• Support the management and tracking of pending items and exceptions throughout application workflows.
• Develop communication and information-delivery flows within the solution.
• Work with relational databases and support data-related development activities.
• Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional needs.
• Support testing, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the platform.
• Use Git and GitHub for source-code versioning and collaborative development.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure solutions meet functional and technical objectives.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing applications with Python.
• Practical experience with the Django framework.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and its application in web development.
• Experience with or knowledge of FastAPI.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing integrations between systems and services.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and API-based integrations.
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve technical problems.
• Ability to understand business rules and translate them into effective, maintainable technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence concepts and solutions is desirable.
• Experience or knowledge of OCR and document-processing technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of Google OCR is desirable.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an advantage.
• Experience or knowledge working with environments integrated with Claude is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and contribute to the continuous evolution of the solution.
