This senior leadership role helps healthcare organizations maximize the value of their electronic health record investments.
You will lead enterprise-wide initiatives spanning EHR adoption, optimization, training, organizational change, and long-term sustainment.
The role combines healthcare operations expertise, EHR knowledge, and management consulting capabilities.
You will advise executive, clinical, operational, and technology leaders across complex healthcare environments.
Your work will improve user engagement, workflow adoption, workforce capability, and organizational performance.
Beyond client delivery, you will help build, scale, and commercialize innovative consulting offerings in digital enablement and workforce transformation.

Accountabilities
- Lead large-scale EHR adoption, optimization, training, organizational change, and workforce transformation programs for healthcare organizations.
- Advise C-suite executives, clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, and technology teams on strategies that improve EHR utilization, user engagement, workflow effectiveness, and organizational performance.
- Design and execute organizational change management programs that support successful transformation, adoption, and sustained behavioral change.
- Develop enterprise adoption strategies, engagement programs, training approaches, and sustainment models that extend beyond implementation and go-live.
- Establish governance frameworks and continuous improvement practices that enable organizations to monitor adoption, address barriers, and sustain long-term value from EHR investments.
- Apply healthcare operational and EHR expertise across areas such as clinical operations, ambulatory and acute care, revenue cycle, population health, patient access, care management, and digital health.
- Lead multifaceted consulting engagements, managing budgets, timelines, deliverables, risks, and cross-functional teams to achieve measurable client outcomes.
- Leverage adoption metrics, analytics, and user behavior data to identify opportunities, measure transformation effectiveness, and guide improvement initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior healthcare stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations throughout complex transformation programs.
- Contribute to the development, scaling, and commercialization of consulting offerings focused on EHR adoption, optimization, organizational transformation, workforce enablement, and digital transformation.
- Support the development of repeatable methodologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices that strengthen delivery quality and expand consulting capabilities.
- Travel periodically, with up to 25% travel required to support client engagements and transformation activities.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, EHR leadership, healthcare technology, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives.
- Deep expertise with at least one major EHR platform, such as Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, or MEDITECH.
- Strong understanding of healthcare delivery and operational processes across one or more areas, including clinical operations, ambulatory care, acute care, revenue cycle, population health, patient access, care management, or digital health.
- Significant experience designing and implementing Organizational Change Management programs and enterprise adoption initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term governance, sustainment, and continuous improvement strategies following implementation or go-live.
- Strong executive presence and proven ability to advise and influence C-suite and senior healthcare leaders.
- Experience managing complex consulting engagements involving budgets, timelines, multiple stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Preferred: Master’s degree and relevant EHR certifications, including Epic, Oracle Health, or MEDITECH credentials.
- Preferred: Prosci, CCMP, ADKAR, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or comparable certifications.
- Preferred: Experience with academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, large health systems, government health agencies, or payer organizations.
- Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare quality, regulatory, compliance, and reimbursement frameworks, as well as experience using analytics and adoption metrics to drive transformation outcomes.
- Annual salary range of $185,000-$309,000, with compensation determined by factors such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
