Freelance Frontend Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Freelance Frontend Developer based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote, hourly freelance opportunity for an experienced Frontend Developer.

You will build responsive, modern, and high-performance web experiences across internal platforms and client projects.

The role focuses heavily on React and Next.js, with an emphasis on scalable architecture and polished user interfaces.

You will turn design concepts into reusable components while ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

You will also contribute to performance optimization, technical SEO, API integrations, and efficient frontend delivery.

Working alongside distributed technical and design teams, you will manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high development standards.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain highly responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces using React and Next.js across internal products and diverse client projects.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs from tools such as Figma or Adobe XD into reusable, scalable, and high-quality frontend components.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) with Next.js to improve application performance, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO.
• Build responsive, mobile-first experiences while ensuring consistent functionality and presentation across browsers and devices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints in collaboration with backend developers, supporting efficient data flow and state management.
• Conduct frontend testing, troubleshoot UI issues, and continuously improve application speed, accessibility, and overall user experience in line with WCAG standards.
• Manage multiple development assignments simultaneously, coordinating effectively with remote technical and design teams and maintaining accurate time tracking.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating dynamic, responsive, and high-performance web applications.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of modern frontend architecture.
• Extensive hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js, including React Hooks, state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand, and Next.js routing.
• Strong experience with modern CSS technologies and frameworks, including Tailwind CSS, Sass, or CSS-in-JS, as well as responsive and mobile-first development.
• Solid understanding of API integration, Git/GitHub, version control, and modern deployment workflows using platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or AWS.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating attention to detail, UI quality, performance, and maintainable frontend architecture.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments, track time accurately, meet tight deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
• Previous experience working with technology companies, marketing agencies, or headless frontend architectures is considered an advantage.
