Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) - Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) - Consultant based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise reporting and analytics across Oracle Fusion environments.

You will design dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions that help business teams make informed decisions.

Working closely with Finance, HCM, SCM, and other functional stakeholders, you will translate business needs into effective data solutions.

The role combines hands-on development, data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization.

You will work with modern Oracle analytics technologies while ensuring reporting accuracy, performance, and security.

This is a remote opportunity suited to an experienced Oracle professional who enjoys solving complex data and reporting challenges.

You will also contribute to improving analytics practices and staying ahead of evolving Oracle Fusion capabilities.

Accountabilities

• Develop and configure FDI reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics within Oracle Fusion Applications to support business reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, and other functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions.
• Build, enhance, and maintain OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI subject areas, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) solutions.
• Design ad-hoc and scheduled reports that provide relevant, timely, and actionable business insights.
• Ensure the accuracy, performance, security, and reliability of reporting and analytics solutions.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, investigate data inconsistencies, and resolve problems related to data integrity and analytics performance.
• Work with complex Fusion Applications data models and establish effective data relationships and joins.
• Apply SQL and query optimization techniques to improve reporting efficiency and data retrieval.
• Stay current with Oracle Fusion reporting technologies, analytics capabilities, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in reporting processes, standards, and analytical solutions.
• Take on additional responsibilities and activities as business and project requirements evolve.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience working with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and enterprise reporting or analytics solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
• Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications data models, particularly across Finance, HCM, and SCM modules.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data joins, query development, and query optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and convert them into clear, effective reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to investigate data and reporting issues systematically.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy, reporting quality, performance, and security.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities and challenging assignments.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to stay current with evolving Oracle Fusion and data analytics technologies.
