Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Graduate SOC Analyst based in India.

As a Graduate SOC Analyst, you’ll launch your cybersecurity career in a collaborative environment where hands-on learning and development are part of the role. You’ll monitor security events, investigate alerts, and support the initial triage of potential threats. Working alongside experienced security professionals, you’ll build practical expertise in security operations, threat detection, and incident response. You’ll also research emerging threats, document findings, and contribute to remediation activities that strengthen the organisation’s security posture. The role provides exposure to real-world cybersecurity challenges and opportunities to continuously expand your technical knowledge. It’s an ideal opportunity for a curious, analytical graduate looking to make an impact while developing a long-term career in cybersecurity.

Accountabilities:

    • Security Event Monitoring: Continuously monitor security events using a range of security tools and technologies to identify potential threats.
    • Initial Triage: Support the investigation and assessment of security alerts, determining their severity, potential impact, and required next steps.
    • Incident Management: Analyse security incidents, gather relevant information, identify potential root causes, and escalate incidents according to established procedures.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with SOC colleagues and other departments to support effective investigation, incident resolution, and remediation.
    • Threat & Weakness Monitoring: Review findings from attack-surface monitoring tools, research relevant security practices, and work with business teams to address identified weaknesses.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate issue trackers and document investigation findings, actions, incidents, and remediation activities.
    • Remediation: Contribute to identifying and implementing appropriate measures to address security vulnerabilities and incidents.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve security alerts and monitoring capabilities, record recommendations, and stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
    • Professional Development: Make use of available learning resources and training platforms to strengthen cybersecurity knowledge and investigation skills.
    • Requirements:

      • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and their application to security monitoring and incident response.
      • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical and structured approach to investigating security issues.
      • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when analysing events, recording findings, and recommending remediation actions.
      • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and other departments.
      • Organisation: Systematic, organised, and careful when handling investigations, documentation, and incident-related activities.
      • Self-Motivation: Demonstrated willingness to establish personal learning and development goals and continuously improve technical skills.
      • Education: Relevant higher education studies in technology, cybersecurity, programming, artificial intelligence, or a related field are desirable.
      • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with networks, applications, and security controls is advantageous.
      • Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity or technical certifications are desirable.
      • Academic Exposure: Experience studying cybersecurity as part of an established academic or professional course is beneficial.
      • Benefits:

        • Inclusive, safe, and welcoming working environment.
        • Strong focus on learning, professional development, and career growth.
        • Access to training and development resources to strengthen technical and cybersecurity capabilities.
        • Flexible working options, which may include part-time work, adjusted hours, staggered shifts, and hybrid or remote working, depending on individual needs and role requirements.
        • Support for a healthy work-life balance.
        • Opportunities to contribute to charitable and community initiatives through dedicated volunteering leave.
        • Collaborative environment with opportunities to learn from experienced cybersecurity professionals.
        • Meaningful opportunity to contribute to protecting digital services and strengthening security operations.
