The role combines prospecting, consultative selling, product demonstrations, negotiation, and full-cycle account management.

Working closely with customer success, product, and marketing teams, you’ll help create a seamless customer experience.
You’ll have significant autonomy over your accounts while working in a collaborative, metrics-driven sales environment.
This remote opportunity is particularly suited to ambitious sales professionals located in the Central United States.
Accountabilities
- Own and strategically manage an expansive portfolio of college and university accounts within an assigned territory.
- Prospect for new opportunities through outbound outreach, cold calling, relationship building, and other sales development techniques.
- Develop professional relationships with professors, department leaders, and other education stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial discovery and qualification through product demonstrations, solution presentations, negotiation, and closing.
- Present and sell a broad portfolio of digital education products, SaaS solutions, content, and approved partner offerings.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of solutions and tailor messaging and demonstrations to individual professors, departments, and institutional needs.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, including larger or more complex deals.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and other internal partners to support customer satisfaction and maximize revenue growth.
- Maintain a strong focus on sales performance, pipeline development, account growth, and achievement of defined targets.
- Respond effectively to objections and continuously refine sales strategies based on customer feedback, coaching, and market insights.
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales role, preferably in a consultative or technology-focused sales environment.
- Previous experience selling to professors, colleges, universities, or other education-sector stakeholders is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, cold outreach, discovery, demonstrations, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and close significant or complex business opportunities.
- Strong prospecting skills and confidence initiating conversations with new contacts through phone, email, and other channels.
- Highly motivated, ambitious, achievement-oriented, and driven to exceed measurable goals.
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with clearly defined sales targets and performance expectations.
- Resilient and positive when handling objections, setbacks, and common sales challenges.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to absorb coaching and feedback quickly and translate it into improved performance.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work cross-functionally with customer success, product, marketing, and other teams.
- Candidates located in the Central United States, particularly Oklahoma, Kansas, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, North Dakota, or South Dakota, are preferred due to territory requirements.
