Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Compensation Analyst based in the United States.

This is a high-ownership compensation role supporting global programs across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

You will manage day-to-day compensation operations while helping strengthen the systems, processes, and data that underpin pay decisions.

The role combines compensation analytics, market benchmarking, cycle administration, job architecture, and pay transparency.

You will work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Payroll, Legal, and Finance to deliver accurate and consistent compensation programs.

Your analysis will directly inform salary structures, incentive targets, equity guidelines, and broader workforce decisions.

The environment is fast-paced, technology-driven, and increasingly focused on AI and automation to improve efficiency and data integrity.

This opportunity is ideal for a compensation professional who enjoys both analytical problem-solving and hands-on program ownership.

Accountabilities

    • Own end-to-end administration of compensation cycles, including planning, system configuration, approval workflows, execution, and employee communications.
    • Manage the configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of compensation management systems, survey reporting tools, benchmarking processes, and cycle management platforms.
    • Lead annual market benchmarking activities, including survey submissions, data validation, market pricing, and analysis of new and existing roles.
    • Support equity award administration and maintain accurate compensation-related records within relevant equity management systems.
    • Evaluate market data and internal equity to recommend updates to salary structures, pay ranges, bonus targets, and equity guidelines.
    • Act as a trusted compensation partner to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition teams, and managers on offers, promotions, transfers, and off-cycle compensation requests.
    • Own global pay reporting and support pay transparency and disclosure requirements across multiple geographies.
    • Conduct ad hoc analyses involving incentive compensation, equity programs, pay equity, workforce costs, and other strategic compensation topics.
    • Use AI, automation, analytics, and improved technology to reduce manual work, strengthen data quality, and make compensation processes more scalable.
    • Develop and deliver compensation training and communications that make complex compensation concepts accessible to managers, HR partners, employees, and senior leaders.
    • Handle sensitive compensation information with a high degree of discretion, accuracy, and professional judgment.
    • Requirements

      • 5+ years of professional experience in compensation or people analytics, with 7+ years preferred.
      • Hands-on experience administering compensation cycles and working with compensation management systems such as Pave or Oracle HCM, as well as survey and benchmarking platforms such as Radford or Mercer.
      • Strong knowledge of compensation benchmarking methodologies, survey submissions, job leveling, salary structure design, market pricing, and compensation governance.
      • Experience supporting global compensation programs across multiple regions, including knowledge of multi-country pay practices and pay transparency requirements.
      • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, with the ability to transform complex datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
      • Experience using BI, AI, or automation tools to improve compensation analysis, reporting, or operational processes.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compensation concepts clearly to employees, managers, HR partners, and senior leadership.
      • Sound judgment and discretion when working with confidential employee and compensation information.
      • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership in a fast-moving environment.
      • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or a related credential is a plus.
      • Experience with Oracle HCM, Pave, Fidelity PSW, Radford, or Mercer is preferred.
      • Demonstrated success using AI and automation to improve compensation operations is highly valued.
      • Benefits

        • Annual salary range of $125,000-$149,500 USD, with starting compensation influenced by geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
        • Flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts (HSA) with company contributions.
        • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
        • Employee stock purchase program.
        • Life insurance, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage.
        • Generous paid time off and company holidays.
        • Paid parental leave.
        • Identity theft protection and prepaid legal insurance.
        • Pet insurance and backup childcare and eldercare support.
        • Product discounts and employee referral bonus opportunities.
        • Wellness programs and learning and development opportunities.
        • A high-impact environment that encourages innovation, AI adoption, career growth, and continuous improvement.
        • An inclusive workplace focused on collaboration, individuality, equal opportunity, and career acceleration.
        • Reasonable accommodations available throughout the recruitment and interview process where needed.
