Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal Compliance Manager (Corporate) based in United States.

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a broad corporate compliance program across healthcare, anti-corruption, antitrust, and anti-money laundering matters.

You will help strengthen compliance frameworks, identify potential areas of risk, and develop practical strategies to mitigate exposure.

The position combines policy development, risk assessments, monitoring, third-party due diligence, training, and compliance reporting.

You will work closely with Legal, Finance, IT, HR, Regulatory, and business teams to resolve compliance issues and support sound decision-making.

The role also provides exposure to healthcare compliance, government contracting, transparency reporting, investigations, and business acquisitions.

Success requires strong judgment, project management skills, and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on compliance culture within a complex, multi-business organization.

Accountabilities:

The Legal Compliance Manager will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate compliance programs while advising business teams and subsidiaries on regulatory and ethical requirements.

    • Develop and implement elements of healthcare and medical device compliance programs aligned with applicable regulatory guidance and industry standards.
    • Draft, update, assess, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines across healthcare, anti-corruption, antitrust, and anti-money laundering areas.
    • Conduct compliance risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop action plans to mitigate potential risks.
    • Develop and manage employee training covering healthcare regulations, anti-kickback requirements, the False Claims Act, HIPAA, anti-corruption, antitrust, and related ethical standards.
    • Perform transaction monitoring reviews and oversee third-party intermediary and distributor due diligence activities.
    • Manage ongoing third-party compliance monitoring and provide guidance to business teams and subsidiaries.
    • Conduct annual anti-corruption and antitrust self-audits and support compliance investigations and policy audits.
    • Promote compliance awareness through communications, engagement initiatives, and ongoing education.
    • Support transparency data collection, validation, and reporting, including requirements related to the Physician Payments Sunshine Act.
    • Review grants, sponsorships, fair-market-value evaluations, government bids, contracts, and related documentation for compliance considerations.
    • Collaborate with Legal, IT, HR, Finance, Regulatory, and other functions to route compliance matters through appropriate investigation, remediation, and reporting channels.
    • Prepare management reports covering incidents, investigations, emerging compliance risks, and broader compliance activities.
    • Conduct pre-acquisition due diligence for healthcare businesses and support the development of integration plans.
    • Support the HIPAA Privacy Officer on healthcare privacy and HIPAA-related responsibilities.
    • Monitor changes in legislation, enforcement activity, healthcare regulations, and compliance best practices.
    • Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings substantial anti-corruption compliance experience combined with strong regulatory knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

      • Minimum of 7 years of anti-corruption compliance experience with a Master’s degree, including transaction monitoring and distributor due diligence experience; or
      • Minimum of 5 years of anti-corruption compliance experience with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, including transaction monitoring and distributor due diligence experience.
      • Strong understanding of anti-corruption regulations, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Department of Justice guidance on compliance program effectiveness, and global frameworks such as the UK Bribery Act.
      • Experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and revising compliance policies and procedures.
      • Preferred minimum of 3 years of healthcare compliance experience within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
      • Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and industry standards, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, OIG compliance guidance, and AdvaMed standards.
      • Experience evaluating and auditing healthcare compliance matters, identifying operational issues, and implementing effective remediation strategies.
      • Exposure to multiple areas of substantive compliance law, including anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and healthcare compliance.
      • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification is preferred.
      • Proficiency with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management.
      • Demonstrated ability to advise business leaders on compliance matters, facilitate risk assessments, and develop practical, business-oriented solutions.
      • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
      • Benefits:

        • $145,000-$165,000 salary, depending on experience.
        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
        • Life insurance.
        • 401(k) plan.
        • Paid time off.
