Middle Frontend Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Middle Frontend Developer based in Brazil.

As a Middle Frontend Developer, you will build sleek, high-performance web applications that deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences. You will work primarily with React.js and GraphQL to develop modern, scalable frontend solutions. The role involves close collaboration with designers, backend developers, and QA engineers throughout the development lifecycle. You will contribute to responsive interfaces, reusable components, performance optimization, and reliable integrations. Your work will directly influence the usability, quality, and scalability of products serving users across global markets. Accountabilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and GraphQL, ensuring high standards of functionality, performance, and usability.
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to translate product requirements and designs into scalable, high-performance frontend solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code while following established frontend development standards and best practices.
• Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly UI components that provide consistent experiences across browsers and devices.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective technical improvements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues across multiple browsers, devices, and environments.
• Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities to improve overall team quality.
• Where applicable, create and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Playwright or comparable testing frameworks.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional frontend development experience with React.js and a solid understanding of modern web development practices.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3, with the ability to build robust and maintainable user interfaces.
• Hands-on experience working with GraphQL, preferably using Apollo Client or a similar client-side solution.
• Familiarity with React Hooks and Context API, with experience using Redux considered an advantage.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services into frontend applications.
• Good understanding of component-based architecture, state management, reusable UI patterns, and frontend application structure.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization, browser debugging, troubleshooting, and responsive development techniques.
• Experience with Playwright or other automated testing frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
• Upper-Intermediate English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Detail-oriented and user-focused approach, with a genuine interest in creating polished and seamless digital experiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying opportunities to improve application performance, usability, and UI quality.
