This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Representative, Group Sales based in Canada.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will own the top of the funnel for a growing B2B group sales program serving diverse business and institutional sectors.
You will generate new pipeline through high-volume, strategic outbound prospecting across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
Your focus will be on identifying target accounts, engaging decision-makers, understanding their needs, and qualifying promising opportunities.
Working within a lean and fast-moving team, you will have significant ownership over your pipeline, campaigns, messaging, and daily prospecting strategy.
You will use modern sales technologies and research tools to build repeatable outreach processes and consistently deliver qualified opportunities.
Your performance will directly contribute to revenue growth while giving you a clear pathway toward future Account Management opportunities.

Accountabilities:
- Generate qualified sales pipeline through outbound email, phone outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting across target verticals including military, construction, hospitality, healthcare, universities, and enterprise accounts.
- Research prospective organizations and identify relevant decision-makers and buying opportunities.
- Build and execute repeatable outbound campaigns, including prospecting sequences, messaging, and contact cadences.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding prospect needs, business context, buying processes, and potential fit.
- Conduct high-volume outreach while maintaining a thoughtful, personalized approach rather than relying solely on standardized scripts.
- Hand qualified opportunities over to Account Managers with accurate, complete, and actionable context to support a smooth sales process.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline and activity targets.
- Maintain accurate prospect records, outreach activity, and pipeline information in Pipedrive.
- Use tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and NetSuite to research accounts, identify prospects, and manage sales activity.
- Participate in ongoing sales and procedural training to strengthen outbound skills and maintain strong product knowledge.
- Represent the organization’s values consistently across prospect interactions, internal communication, and opportunity handoffs.
- Take ownership of pipeline development and continuously identify ways to improve outreach effectiveness and sales performance.
- At least 1 year of experience in outbound sales or a comparable prospecting-focused role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable conducting high volumes of outbound calls and emails while maintaining motivation and consistency through repetitive prospecting activities.
- Creative and adaptable approach to outreach, with the ability to tailor messaging rather than relying on a single script.
- General understanding of B2B buying processes, sales development, and outbound prospecting principles.
- Comfortable working with CRM and sales technology such as Pipedrive, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
- Highly coachable and receptive to feedback, with a genuine desire to continuously improve.
- Ability to work effectively across any US or Canadian time zone.
- Experience in B2B, group, or corporate sales is preferred.
- Experience with account-based marketing or lead generation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Sandler, MEDDIC, SPIN, or GAP is a plus.
- Background or experience in technology or outdoor industries is desirable.
- Interest in developing toward an Account Manager position over time is valued.
