This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager - Engineering based in United Kingdom.

This is a cross-functional product leadership role connecting engineering teams with game product stakeholders in a fast-paced mobile gaming environment.

You will shape internal engineering products, platforms, and initiatives that enable teams to work more effectively and deliver better player experiences.

Working closely with engineering leads and product managers, you will translate technical and business needs into clear priorities, roadmaps, and requirements.

You will balance business value, technical effort, stakeholder needs, and delivery constraints to guide high-impact decisions.

The role combines product management, technical understanding, project coordination, and continuous improvement across the engineering lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Game Product, QA, Analytics, and other teams across a globally distributed organization.

This is an opportunity for a technically curious product professional to influence how engineering teams build, operate, and improve the tools and systems behind successful mobile games.

Accountabilities:

    • Partner with engineering leads and game product managers to gather requirements, identify opportunities, assess tradeoffs, and contribute to roadmap planning for internal engineering initiatives.
    • Own and continuously maintain the backlog for internal engineering products, platforms, and tools.
    • Facilitate alignment between Engineering, Game Product, QA, Analytics, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Translate business objectives and technical requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and functional requirements.
    • Coordinate feature development, project timelines, releases, and stakeholder communications.
    • Recommend priorities based on business impact, engineering effort, technical dependencies, and stakeholder feedback.
    • Define appropriate success metrics and monitor product performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Establish and maintain consistent standards for product requirements, documentation, release notes, and user guides.
    • Facilitate roadmap reviews, planning sessions, prioritization discussions, and cross-functional meetings.
    • Identify opportunities to improve internal engineering tools, workflows, platforms, and development processes.
    • Help stakeholders understand technical initiatives by clearly communicating their purpose, expected outcomes, and business value.
    • Support continuous improvement across the product development lifecycle by incorporating feedback, performance data, and lessons learned.
    • Requirements:

      • 3+ years of professional Product Management experience, ideally supporting technical products, engineering teams, or software platforms.
      • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern software development practices.
      • Technical fluency and confidence discussing concepts such as Unity, JavaScript, APIs, backend services, cloud infrastructure, mobile applications, and game development.
      • Ability to understand technical tradeoffs and translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
      • Strong organizational, prioritization, project management, and execution skills.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
      • Proven experience writing product requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and maintaining product documentation.
      • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and bring structure to complex or ambiguous initiatives.
      • Experience working collaboratively with engineering and other technical stakeholders.
      • Experience in the mobile gaming industry is preferred.
      • Familiarity with internal developer tools, SDKs, LiveOps, analytics platforms, backend systems, or similar technical products is a plus.
      • Working knowledge of AWS, SQL, REST APIs, or comparable technologies is advantageous.
      • Previous hands-on technical or engineering experience is a plus, but not required.
      • Professional English proficiency of at least B2 level, with the ability to participate confidently in meetings and independently read and produce technical and product documentation.
      • Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed environment.
      • Benefits:

        • Fully remote position within Europe.
        • Opportunity to work on internal engineering products and platforms supporting a large-scale mobile gaming organization.
        • High-impact role at the intersection of Product Management, Engineering, and Game Development.
        • Exposure to a broad range of technologies, including mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, backend services, analytics, and game development tools.
        • Collaboration with experienced engineering, product, QA, analytics, and game development professionals.
        • Opportunity to influence technical roadmaps, internal workflows, and engineering processes.
        • Globally distributed and collaborative working environment.
        • Opportunities for professional growth and increased responsibility within a rapidly growing organization.
        • Work in an English-speaking international environment with colleagues across multiple locations and teams.
