Product Owner [Talents Bench]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner [Talents Bench] based in Brazil.

This role is an opportunity to guide clients toward strategic product decisions that align technology with meaningful business outcomes.

You will act as the bridge between business priorities, user needs, and technical delivery.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will shape product vision, roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans.

You will help teams translate complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions and user stories.

The role combines product leadership, strategic advisory, client partnership, and hands-on collaboration with engineering teams.

You will operate in a fully remote, international environment where curiosity about AI and a human-first approach are highly valued.

Accountabilities:

• Balance engineering priorities, business strategy, client needs, and team dynamics to keep product initiatives focused and aligned.

• Identify opportunities for growth by maintaining awareness of customer needs, market developments, competitive dynamics, and emerging industry standards.

• Partner with development teams to determine effective technical approaches based on a deep understanding of client requirements and business objectives.

• Ensure requirements are clearly understood and that implementation plans remain aligned with stakeholder expectations.

• Identify, articulate, and prioritize client business needs and opportunities.

• Advise clients on technology strategy, product planning, strategic roadmapping, and release planning.

• Own, maintain, and continuously refine product backlogs using tools such as Jira.

• Represent business needs within Scrum teams and work closely with developers to ensure successful delivery of prioritized work.

• Identify product risks, communicate them clearly, and develop practical mitigation strategies.

• Facilitate collaboration between business and technical stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and client proxy throughout development cycles.

• Lead whiteboarding, ideation, prioritization, and problem-solving sessions with diverse stakeholders.

• Maintain a positive, respectful, and constructive approach in all professional interactions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience leading software applications and/or providing strategic advisory, account management, or similar client-facing services.

• Advanced to fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Design, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and professionals across R&D, product, legal, finance, sales, and marketing.

• Strong ability to synthesize complex technical, business, or organizational challenges and communicate solutions clearly and concisely.

• Professional experience with technology backlog management and tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Asana.

• Ability to confidently facilitate group sessions involving whiteboarding, concept development, prioritization, and decision-making.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional business and technical teams toward timely issue resolution and successful outcomes.

• Strong understanding of product ownership, software development processes, user stories, and Agile/Scrum environments.

• Excellent balance of technical understanding, business judgment, strategic thinking, empathy, and relationship-building skills.

• Genuine interest in AI and its impact on the future of technology and business, combined with a human-first mindset.

• Familiarity with open-source principles and a strong commitment to collaborative, transparent ways of working.

• Nice to have: PSPO or CSPO certification.

• Candidates must be residing in Brazil. The position is offered remotely and compensation is paid in Brazilian Reais (R$). Visa sponsorship is not available.
