Tech Lead — Data Analytics | Bloomfieldx

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead - Data Analytics | Bloomfieldx based in India.

This is a client-facing leadership role within a data analytics environment, combining technical delivery, project ownership, and people management. You’ll serve as the key link between clients and delivery teams, translating business needs into actionable data strategies and measurable outcomes. The role gives you end-to-end ownership of projects, from planning and execution through delivery and stakeholder communication. You’ll lead and mentor analysts and data scientists while maintaining high standards for quality, accountability, and collaboration. The position also involves agile delivery, data governance, risk management, and hands-on engagement with analytics and visualization tools. It is well suited to an experienced analytics professional who enjoys combining leadership, client relationships, and structured project execution.

Accountabilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable data strategies.

• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through consistent delivery, proactive communication, and effective expectation management.

• Provide regular project updates, manage escalations, and facilitate discussions around scope, priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.

• Present analytical findings, dashboards, insights, and recommendations clearly to technical and business audiences.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analysts and data scientists, supporting their day-to-day performance and professional development.

• Allocate work, review deliverables for quality, provide constructive feedback, and foster an accountable and collaborative team environment.

• Manage team coordination and performance across evening-shift operations, including conflict resolution and performance discussions when required.

• Own data analytics projects end-to-end, covering planning, execution, tracking, risk management, stakeholder communication, and final delivery.

• Lead sprint planning and other agile ceremonies while managing project tickets and tasks through ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.

• Identify delivery risks and dependencies early and coordinate mitigation efforts across relevant teams.

• Ensure projects meet agreed timelines, quality standards, data governance requirements, and privacy expectations.

• Support continuous improvement in delivery processes, team performance, client engagement, and analytics practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience, with demonstrated responsibility across client handling, team leadership, and project management.

• Proven experience working directly with clients, including requirement gathering, expectation management, stakeholder communication, and presentations.

• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of analysts, data professionals, or similar technical specialists.

• Hands-on experience managing projects from initiation through completion, including timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder coordination.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and analytical concepts clearly to clients and business stakeholders.

• Experience with SQL, including query development, data extraction, and fundamental database concepts.

• Working knowledge of at least one data analytics or visualization platform, such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, or Excel.

• Familiarity with ticketing and work-management platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or comparable tools.

• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, execution, and delivery practices.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

• Ability to identify problems proactively, manage risks, resolve conflicts, and drive projects toward successful outcomes.

• Strong leadership presence, accountability, collaboration skills, and client-facing professionalism.

• Willingness and flexibility to work evening shifts from approximately 3 PM to 12 AM, according to business requirements.

• Candidates based in Tamil Nadu are preferred, while the position is fully remote.
