Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager - PSS based in the United States.

This role leads the delivery of power systems studies for mission-critical facilities, including hyperscale data centers and other high-performance environments.

You will oversee projects from kickoff through final deliverables, balancing technical quality, client expectations, schedules, resources, and financial performance.

The position combines project management with hands-on technical oversight across electrical power system studies and engineering deliverables.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, clients, design teams, commissioning teams, construction stakeholders, and external partners.

Success requires strong judgment, organization, communication, and the ability to manage complex projects with limited day-to-day supervision.

You will also contribute to business development, client relationships, process improvement, and the adoption of digital and AI-enabled tools.

This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to work on technically demanding infrastructure projects while supporting reliable, safe, and resilient facilities across the United States.

Accountabilities

    • Lead power systems study projects from kickoff through completion, managing scope, schedules, resources, technical coordination, and final deliverables.

    • Coordinate studies including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, equipment evaluation, and, where applicable, transient stability analysis.

    • Define project scopes, assumptions, deliverables, resource requirements, and execution strategies in collaboration with engineering and project leadership teams.

    • Coordinate internal engineers and external subconsultants, including developing RFPs, evaluating proposals, leveling bids, monitoring performance, and reviewing deliverables.

    • Serve as the primary liaison between study engineers, design teams, clients, commissioning teams, construction stakeholders, and other project participants.

    • Lead technical review meetings and ensure studies are effectively integrated into design and construction workflows.

    • Coordinate QA/QC processes and verify that deliverables meet technical requirements, applicable codes, safety standards, and client expectations.

    • Prepare, forecast, and monitor project budgets, profitability, margins, bill rates, utilization, and progress against financial targets.

    • Identify project risks, manage potential deviations, and develop mitigation strategies to protect project schedules, budgets, and deliverable quality.

    • Communicate with clients regarding scope changes, additional fees, change orders, project status, and technical requirements.

    • Develop technical proposals, fee estimates, scopes, assumptions, pricing, and resource plans for new project opportunities.

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional work and supporting business development activities.

    • Manage project contract administration, time reporting, project documentation, departmental reporting, and other administrative requirements.

    • Identify and implement opportunities to use digital platforms, advanced analytics, data visualization, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve project controls, forecasting, documentation, reporting, and quality.

    • Promote technology adoption while ensuring solutions align with organizational standards for security, privacy, data integrity, and operational requirements.

    • Complete assigned projects and deliverables accurately, on schedule, and within budget.

    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems studies, or project management within mission-critical or similar environments.

      • Working knowledge of power systems study methodologies, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash analysis.

      • Understanding of electrical systems and components used in mission-critical facilities, including switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and distribution equipment.

      • Knowledge of protective devices such as relays, circuit breakers, and fuses, including their operation, types, and settings.

      • Ability to review technical deliverables such as one-line diagrams, coordination curves, arc flash results, and engineering study reports for accuracy and completeness.

      • Familiarity with power system modeling software such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or EasyPower.

      • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and relevant IEEE standards.

      • Understanding of mission-critical facility requirements, including reliability, redundancy, and uptime considerations.

      • Strong project management capabilities covering scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, delegation, and risk management.

      • Ability to review engineering design packages for technical accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project requirements.

      • Familiarity with project and construction management platforms such as Procore and Microsoft SharePoint.

      • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

      • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

      • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively with distributed and onsite teams.

      • Ability to plan, delegate, and coordinate the work of others while maintaining accountability for project outcomes.

      • Willingness and ability to follow applicable company and site safety requirements.

      • Ability to travel approximately 10% within the United States, including potential travel to client sites, business meetings, conferences, and other business activities.

      • Benefits

        • Competitive base compensation, with a stated range of approximately $104,738-$170,000 per year depending on applicable factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and location.

        • Dental and vision insurance.

        • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for eligible spouses/domestic partners and dependent children up to age 26.

        • 401(k) plan with company match and self-directed brokerage account option.

        • Paid time off, including additional paid time off during the final week of the year.

        • Company-paid life insurance for employees and eligible dependents.
