This remote opportunity is designed for an experienced public-sector procurement professional with deep expertise in RFI responses and related government-facing processes.
You will evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and presentations against rigorous, domain-specific quality standards.
Your expertise will help assess whether AI outputs are accurate, practical, complete, and aligned with real-world procurement expectations.
The role offers an opportunity to apply your professional judgment to emerging AI technologies and their practical use in public-sector environments.
You will identify factual, analytical, formatting, and presentation issues and provide actionable feedback.
The engagement is flexible and fully remote, allowing you to contribute independently while supporting the development of higher-quality AI systems.
This is an hourly independent-contractor opportunity suited to professionals who can bring substantial real-world procurement expertise to AI evaluation.
Accountabilities
- Evaluate AI-generated work products related to public-sector procurement and RFI responses using defined, domain-specific quality rubrics.
- Assess outputs for factual accuracy, procurement relevance, rigor, completeness, clarity, and practical applicability.
- Identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors that could affect the quality or usability of an output.
- Apply your professional experience and judgment to distinguish credible public-sector procurement practices from generic or inaccurate responses.
- Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development of AI systems by consistently applying procurement expertise across documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations.
- Collaborate remotely and asynchronously as needed while maintaining high standards for quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in public-sector procurement, RFI response, government contracting, or a closely related field.
- Strong practical understanding of public-sector procurement processes and the preparation or evaluation of RFI-related materials.
- Native or professional fluency in English, with strong written communication skills.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex information against structured quality criteria.
- Excellent attention to detail, sound professional judgment, and the ability to communicate feedback clearly and objectively.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote and asynchronous environment.
- An advanced degree, such as a Master's or higher, is preferred but not required.
- $80-$120 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Fully remote engagement within the United States.
