This fully remote role offers the opportunity to turn complex healthcare data into actionable insights that improve quality performance and business decisions. You will work across analytics, healthcare quality, population health, pharmacy quality, accreditation, and related initiatives. The role combines advanced data analysis, programming, visualization, and stakeholder collaboration in a highly data-driven environment. You will help identify trends, patterns, and performance opportunities while translating technical findings into clear recommendations for leadership. As a key analytical partner, you will also contribute to reporting improvements and data-driven interventions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare analytics professional who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing outcomes through data.

Accountabilities:

    • Analyze and interpret complex healthcare and quality data to identify trends, patterns, special-cause variation, and opportunities for performance improvement.
    • Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, graphics, and visualizations that communicate analytical findings effectively to business and management stakeholders.
    • Produce clear management-level summaries that translate complex analytical results into actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance on SQL, SAS, DAX, data visualization, coding practices, and relevant data sources.
    • Interpret technical specifications and healthcare quality reporting requirements, ensuring changes are implemented accurately and communicated to stakeholders in a timely manner.
    • Partner with business teams to refine analytical requirements and deliver solutions related to HEDIS, population health, pharmacy quality, accreditation, health equity, business development, and RFP activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional and IT teams to improve data collection, reporting systems, data architecture, and analytical capabilities.
    • Lead or contribute to analytical initiatives while serving as a trusted liaison between technical teams and business partners.
    • Apply critical thinking and statistical concepts to solve multidimensional business and healthcare questions.
    • Maintain awareness of managed care data, healthcare coding, and relevant quality performance metrics.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
      • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and/or analytical programming.
      • At least 3 years of experience working with HEDIS or comparable healthcare quality performance metrics.
      • Approximately 3-5 years of programming experience using technologies such as SQL and SAS.
      • Proficiency in at least two of SQL, SAS, and/or DAX is required.
      • Experience with DAX and Power BI is preferred.
      • Healthcare delivery, clinical, payer, or managed care experience is highly desirable.
      • Familiarity with managed care organizations, healthcare data coding, and healthcare data structures.
      • Understanding of statistical concepts and their application to analytical problems is strongly preferred.
      • Ability to work with IT teams and familiarity with MDS and advanced data architecture are valuable.
      • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, active-listening, and analytical skills.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
      • Demonstrated ability to lead analytical efforts, manage stakeholder relationships, and collaborate effectively across teams.
      • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong data visualization and presentation capabilities.
      • A master’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
      • No specific professional license or certification is required.
      • Benefits:

        • Annual salary range: $72,200-$115,500, with compensation determined by factors including education, training, experience, role complexity, and other relevant considerations.
