This is an opportunity to drive efficient, transparent delivery across complex programs in a fully remote environment.
The role combines business analysis, Agile delivery, project management, and process optimization.
You will coordinate multiple workstreams, track milestones, manage risks, and help teams deliver against commitments.
You will translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Working closely with technical and operational stakeholders, you will improve workflows and strengthen delivery practices.
Modern tools such as Jira, Confluence, and AI-enabled solutions will support project visibility and automation.
Your work will have a direct impact on operational efficiency, delivery quality, and stakeholder alignment.
Accountabilities
- Lead day-to-day project management activities, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and delivery roadmaps across multiple initiatives.
- Track work across Scrum and Kanban teams using Jira, maintaining dashboards, status reports, workflows, and project documentation that provide clear visibility into delivery progress.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while helping teams stay aligned to sprint objectives.
- Monitor Agile performance indicators such as velocity, burndown, capacity, and workflow metrics, proactively identifying and addressing delivery risks and impediments.
- Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements, translating stakeholder needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze end-to-end business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, reengineering, and improved operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical teams, analysts, operations staff, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and solutions are delivered effectively.
- Maintain structured documentation and traceability in Confluence, connecting requirements, development activities, project artifacts, and reporting.
- Establish repeatable project workflows, governance practices, and documentation standards to improve consistency and transparency.
- Leverage AI tools to support project tracking, workflow automation, documentation management, reporting, and coordination across multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, business analysis, Agile delivery, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, tracking delivery, gathering requirements, developing user stories, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project management, requirements tracking, workflow management, reporting, and documentation.
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting sprint execution.
- Strong business analysis and process improvement skills, with the ability to understand complex needs and translate them into actionable requirements and process improvements.
- Strong project organization, prioritization, risk management, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, project tracking, documentation, workflow automation, or operational coordination is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other process improvement frameworks is preferred.
- Experience integrating business and operational data into Jira and Confluence to support traceability, reporting, and workflow automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with refugee and immigrant populations or other social programs is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to satisfy applicable background and public-trust requirements.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing effectively to collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Competitive annual salary of approximately $102,000-$138,000, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and contractual considerations.
