This role leads the strategy and delivery of client-facing reporting and analytics solutions within the life sciences sector.
You will transform complex commercial, medical, operational, healthcare, and client data into actionable insights and executive-ready reporting.
The position combines analytics leadership, data visualization, business intelligence, governance, and client engagement.
You will shape scalable reporting frameworks, dashboards, automated solutions, and self-service analytics capabilities.
Working across data, technology, product, and client-facing teams, you will establish standards that improve consistency, quality, and decision-making.
The role also provides opportunities to incorporate AI-enabled reporting and predictive analytics into evolving client solutions.

Accountabilities
- Define the vision, roadmap, operating model, and standards for client reporting and analytics services.
- Lead the design and development of dashboards, automated reporting, and self-service analytics solutions using Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and related data technologies.
- Build reusable reporting frameworks and solutions that improve deployment speed, consistency, scalability, and quality across client engagements.
- Translate complex life sciences data-including commercial performance, medical, operational, claims, prescription, and client data-into meaningful reporting and actionable business insights.
- Serve as the analytics subject matter expert during client onboarding, requirements sessions, executive readouts, and business reviews.
- Partner with product, data engineering, client systems, customer success, and business stakeholders to establish data sources, semantic models, reporting standards, security requirements, and governance practices.
- Define and maintain KPI frameworks, reporting logic, data dictionaries, quality processes, documentation, and governance standards.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI-enabled reporting, predictive analytics, executive insights, and self-service capabilities to improve client outcomes.
- Manage reporting platform priorities, project timelines, deliverables, vendors, partner performance, and associated costs.
- Support annual budgeting and ongoing expense management for reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Communicate analytics findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior and executive audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in analytics, data science, information systems, business, life sciences, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or client-facing analytics services.
- At least 3 years of experience working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, or broader life sciences data is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing analytics projects, reporting platforms, dashboards, client reporting programs, or executive reporting deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial and medical operations, healthcare data, and life sciences reporting use cases.
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI or comparable data visualization and business intelligence platforms.
- Strong SQL capabilities, with practical knowledge of data modeling, data marts, data warehouses, and reporting pipelines.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Power Platform, or comparable cloud and data technologies is preferred.
- Ability to establish meaningful KPIs, reporting methodologies, data dictionaries, governance frameworks, and data quality standards.
- Strong project and vendor management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
- Comfortable collaborating across remote, cross-functional teams and working directly with client stakeholders.
- Familiarity with platforms and data sources such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Freshservice, Veeva Vault CRM, NICE CXone, Workday, Salesforce, IQVIA, Symphony Health, Komodo, Definitive Healthcare, Veeva OpenData, and client data warehouses is advantageous.
- Candidates residing in the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones are preferred.
- Must be currently eligible to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Anticipated annual salary range of $150,000-$161,000, with actual compensation varying based on education, experience, skills, certifications, and other relevant factors.
