Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Analyst based in United States.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in turning complex data into reliable insights, products, and solutions that support business and partner decision-making. You will work across analytics engineering, data visualization, data quality, and automation in a highly collaborative environment. The role combines hands-on technical work with close interaction with stakeholders and engineering teams. You will help build scalable data pipelines and intuitive reporting solutions using modern cloud technologies. You will also develop strong expertise in the insurance domain to anticipate business needs and improve data-driven outcomes. With a strong focus on quality, automation, and shared ownership, you will have meaningful influence on how data is managed and used across the organization.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own and contribute to data initiatives that improve automation, data quality, partner reporting, and decision-making across the organization.

    • Build and automate data transformation pipelines using SQL, dbt, CI/CD, GitHub, and Google Cloud.
    • Develop intuitive data products and visualizations using tools such as Tableau to help stakeholders and partners understand and trust their data.
    • Translate business requirements into effective analytical and technical solutions by actively engaging with stakeholders and engineering teams.
    • Develop subject matter expertise in the insurance domain to better anticipate partner needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Recommend and implement data governance practices that strengthen data quality, controls, and reliability.
    • Create automated data validation checks and unit tests to identify quality issues early and protect downstream analytics and deliverables.
    • Implement monitoring and alerting processes to maintain data quality and reliability, including occasional participation in an on-call rotation.
    • Collaborate with analysts and engineers through knowledge sharing, cross-training, code reviews, and shared ownership of solutions.
    • Contribute ideas, participate actively in team decisions, and support a positive environment focused on continuous improvement.
    • Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and data engineering capabilities with excellent communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset.

      • 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics or a related field.
      • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex, efficient queries against cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery.
      • Strong understanding of data transformation and quality engineering, with experience using technologies such as dbt and Airflow.
      • Familiarity with software development practices and the SDLC, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and GitHub.
      • Strong knowledge of data organization, data modeling, and schema design.
      • Demonstrated ability to optimize queries and reduce cloud compute costs.
      • Experience communicating analytical findings through concise summaries and effective visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Jupyter notebooks, presentations, or similar platforms.
      • Experience using AI coding assistants within IDEs or agentic CLI environments.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to ask clarifying questions and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Ability to create clear documentation for technical designs and code changes using tools such as GitHub, Lucid, Jira, or Confluence.
      • A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for solving problems with data.
      • Benefits:

        • $115,000-$135,000 annual compensation.
        • Equity opportunities based on role.
        • Flexible paid time off and parental leave programs designed to support work-life balance.
        • 100% employer-paid premium option for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
        • Lifestyle stipend supporting physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
        • Flexible work-from-home and remote work options.
        • Access to a state-of-the-art office environment for employees who prefer working from an office.
        • Employee-led diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
        • Opportunities for professional growth and development in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
