Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Events Marketing Manager based in United States.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and performance of a diverse B2B events portfolio.

You’ll own trade shows, industry conferences, association programs, partner activations, and other strategic experiences from planning through post-event analysis.

The role combines strategic marketing thinking with hands-on operational execution, including budgets, logistics, vendors, staffing, and on-site delivery.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Brand, Communications, and other teams to turn event engagement into meaningful customer relationships and qualified pipeline.

Success will depend on your ability to use data, feedback, and ROI insights to continuously improve investments and scale what works.

You’ll operate with significant ownership in a fast-growing environment where organization, initiative, and attention to detail are highly valued.

This is an opportunity to build impactful event programs while directly contributing to broader growth and go-to-market objectives.

Accountabilities

    • Own the full lifecycle of assigned trade shows, conferences, association programs, partner events, and other field marketing activations, from strategic planning through execution and post-event analysis.
    • Develop event strategies aligned with pipeline generation, brand awareness, customer engagement, account priorities, and broader marketing objectives.
    • Establish clear KPIs for each program, monitor performance, and use data-driven insights to improve event impact and determine future investment.
    • Manage event budgets from forecasting through reconciliation, maintaining accurate expense tracking and negotiating vendor and partner agreements to maximize value.
    • Oversee end-to-end logistics, including venues, booth design and setup, vendors, equipment, freight and multi-stop shipping, staffing, registration, travel, speakers, collateral, promotional materials, and contingency planning.
    • Serve as the on-site lead for assigned events, ensuring smooth execution, strong attendee experiences, and consistent brand representation.
    • Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, event organizers, strategic partners, vendors, venues, and other external stakeholders.
    • Lead partner-sponsored and co-branded activations, regional field events, and joint conference participation in collaboration with Sales and Partnerships teams.
    • Work with Brand and Communications to identify and secure relevant speaking opportunities, thought leadership placements, and other high-value visibility opportunities.
    • Partner with Sales to develop pre-event, on-site, and post-event engagement strategies that maximize attendance, lead quality, follow-up, and pipeline conversion.
    • Coordinate lead capture and ensure timely, accurate entry and attribution within Salesforce, including sourced and influenced pipeline reporting.
    • Support email, digital, and social promotion to increase event attendance and engagement, while collaborating on post-event campaigns that accelerate opportunities.
    • Maintain detailed event plans, production schedules, checklists, inventory systems, and documented processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
    • Manage multiple complex programs simultaneously while maintaining exceptional standards of organization, accuracy, communication, and follow-through.
    • Identify opportunities to expand event presence, adjust investment, and create repeatable processes based on strategic value, audience alignment, and measurable results.
    • Requirements

      • 5+ years of experience independently managing B2B trade shows, conferences, association marketing programs, partner events, or comparable field marketing initiatives.
      • Proven ability to own events end-to-end with minimal oversight, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
      • Demonstrated experience managing event budgets, negotiating contracts, and working effectively with external vendors and partners.
      • Strong expertise in event logistics, freight and shipping coordination, vendor management, registration, staffing, and on-site execution.
      • Experience using Salesforce for lead management, pipeline attribution, performance tracking, and ROI reporting.
      • Working knowledge of marketing and operations tools such as HubSpot, Asana, Notion, Canva, and Google Workspace.
      • Experience working with professional event vendors and production partners is preferred.
      • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, sales cycles, pipeline generation, customer engagement, and event-driven demand generation.
      • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex workstreams without sacrificing quality.
      • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to evaluating program performance and making investment decisions.
      • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
      • Comfortable taking ownership, solving problems proactively, and operating with a high degree of independence.
      • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15-20% of the time for events and related activities.
