Senior Front-End Engineer - Publishing

The role focuses on building scalable front-end applications while establishing reusable components and design systems that accelerate delivery.

You will contribute to dashboards, analytics interfaces, interactive tables, and other sophisticated visualization experiences.

Your input will extend beyond implementation, with opportunities to shape interaction design and improve the overall user experience.

This role is ideal for a senior engineer who combines strong React expertise with excellent product instincts and a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.

Accountabilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Partner closely with product designers to refine user experiences, challenge assumptions, and contribute thoughtful recommendations beyond static design specifications.
• Build, document, and maintain reusable UI components and scalable design systems using tools such as Storybook.
• Develop sophisticated dashboards, interactive data tables, charts, and financial or analytics visualization experiences.
• Establish front-end patterns and technical approaches that support maintainability, scalability, consistency, and rapid incremental delivery.
• Communicate technical trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities early and clearly throughout the development lifecycle.
• Break down complex or ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions and deliver customer-facing functionality efficiently.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives and provide a polished user experience.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in front-end architecture, development practices, component reuse, and overall product quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering production-grade, customer-facing applications.
• Deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, supported by experience building polished and scalable digital products.
• Hands-on experience creating reusable component libraries and scalable design systems, ideally with Storybook.
• Strong experience developing data-rich interfaces, including dashboards, interactive tables, charts, analytics tools, and complex visualizations.
• Excellent product and design instincts, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to UX and interaction design decisions.
• Strong understanding of modern front-end architecture, component-driven development, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions, raise risks early, and collaborate effectively with designers, product teams, and engineers.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity, breaking complex requirements into manageable solutions, and delivering value incrementally.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.
• Advanced English proficiency at C1 or C2 level.
