Senior Full Stack Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer based in India.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Developer to build and deploy AI-powered applications in a modern, client-focused environment. You will work across the full technology stack, combining robust backend services with intuitive and scalable user interfaces. The role offers significant exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agent-based applications. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, business teams, and stakeholders to turn business requirements into reliable solutions. The position involves hands-on ownership across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and optimization. You will also work with distributed international teams and contribute to innovative AI use cases with tangible business impact. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working at the intersection of full-stack engineering and AI.

Accountabilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance AI-powered applications within a managed AI development environment.
• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using FastAPI and Python.
• Build intuitive, responsive, and scalable front-end applications using technologies such as React, Node.js, or Django.
• Configure, integrate, and optimize Generative AI, LLM, and AI agent solutions to address business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, improve application performance, and ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Follow software development best practices, security standards, coding guidelines, and quality processes.
• Communicate effectively with distributed teams and provide approximately 5 hours of overlap with US-based teams, including availability to collaborate through 1:00 PM US Eastern Time.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively drive solutions from development through delivery.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of professional software development experience, with strong experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Hands-on experience or strong practical knowledge of FastAPI for backend development and API implementation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one front-end or web development technology such as React, Node.js, or Django.
• Solid understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agent workflows.
• Experience integrating APIs and developing scalable, production-ready web applications.
• Strong programming, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with AI/ML application development, deployment, or integration is highly valued.
• Familiarity with LLM services, vector databases, agent frameworks, or other modern AI technologies is preferred.
• Experience working in customer-facing, consulting, or stakeholder-driven environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud-based development environments is beneficial.
• Experience with the Domino AI (Domino Data Lab) platform is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
• Immediate availability to join is required.
