Senior Product Designer, AI

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer, AI based in the Canada.

As a Senior Product Designer, AI, you will shape the next generation of AI-first experiences for industrial and frontline teams. You’ll own end-to-end design across web and mobile, transforming complex operational workflows into intuitive, intelligent products. The role combines exceptional visual and interaction design with strong product thinking and systems-level thinking. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow designers in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment. Your work will directly influence how frontline professionals use AI to work more efficiently and make better decisions. This is an opportunity to help define AI product experiences at scale while raising the bar for design quality and craft.

Accountabilities:

• Own the end-to-end design process for AI-powered product experiences across web and mobile, from problem discovery and framing through high-fidelity delivery.
• Design intuitive AI experiences for frontline users, including maintenance technicians and facility managers, making complex workflows simpler, smarter, and more efficient.
• Translate ambiguous and rapidly evolving AI problem spaces into clear, testable, user-centered design solutions.
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product lifecycle to align user needs, business objectives, and technical possibilities.
• Apply strong product thinking to identify opportunities where AI can meaningfully improve workflows without introducing unnecessary complexity.
• Think systematically about design patterns, reusable components, and scalable experiences across the broader product ecosystem.
• Contribute to and help evolve the design system, maintaining a high standard of consistency, usability, scalability, and visual craft.
• Present design concepts and decisions clearly, explaining the rationale behind your work and incorporating feedback from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Champion design quality and advocate for exceptional user experiences across the product development lifecycle.
• Use AI tools as part of your own design workflow to accelerate exploration, increase productivity, and push the quality and effectiveness of your output.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional product design experience, ideally within B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or complex digital platforms.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing AI-powered product experiences, such as natural-language interfaces, AI agents, predictive insights, or other intelligent product capabilities.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills, with a highly developed eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, motion, and overall interface quality.
• Strong product thinking and the ability to turn complex or ambiguous problems into simple, intuitive, and effective experiences.
• A systems-oriented mindset, with a natural ability to identify patterns, create reusable solutions, and understand how design decisions scale across a product.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with product and engineering teams in fast-moving environments.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities, with confidence explaining design rationale and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make thoughtful design decisions with incomplete information, and balance user needs with technical and business considerations.
• Demonstrated interest in using AI tools to enhance the design process and improve the quality, speed, and breadth of creative exploration.
• Expert-level spoken and written English, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and present design work effectively to executive stakeholders.
