Senior Product Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in India.

This is an opportunity to shape products that make financial services simpler, more transparent, and more valuable for customers.

You’ll own product initiatives across servicing and payments, from discovery and strategy through launch, measurement, and iteration.

The role combines customer empathy with strong analytical thinking to improve repayment experiences and financial outcomes.

You’ll work closely with engineering, design, data, operations, risk, compliance, legal, finance, and other cross-functional teams.

You’ll translate complex business and customer needs into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

Success will require navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

• Define and execute product strategies and outcome-oriented roadmaps focused on improving repayment outcomes, customer trust, and continued engagement.
• Own product initiatives end to end, covering discovery, problem definition, requirements, delivery, measurement, and continuous iteration.
• Design simple, transparent, reliable servicing and payment experiences across self-service and assisted channels.
• Use customer insights, data, experimentation, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve payment success, delinquency prevention, customer satisfaction, and engagement.
• Establish measurable objectives and key results, ensuring product decisions are connected to tangible customer and business outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with engineering, design, data, operations, risk, compliance, legal, finance, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate product strategy, priorities, trade-offs, progress, risks, and measurable impact clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Build consensus across diverse teams while managing scope and navigating complex business, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify blockers and develop practical, solution-oriented approaches that keep teams moving toward successful delivery.
• Contribute to an iterative Agile product development environment, continuously learning from results and refining the product experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in high-growth or complex product environments.
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders across functions such as compliance, risk, operations, fraud, technology, business intelligence, finance, legal, cybersecurity, or related areas.
• Strong customer-centric mindset and demonstrated ability to turn customer needs and insights into impactful product solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with metrics, data analysis, testing, experimentation, and data-informed decision-making.
• Demonstrated track record of launching, scaling, and iterating products that deliver measurable customer or business value.
• Strong ability to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, manage scope, and guide teams through iterative Agile delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Strong execution mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome obstacles, and maintain momentum toward outcomes.
• Experience working within complex legal, regulatory, or compliance environments is highly desirable.
• SQL experience is a plus, particularly for working directly with data and supporting product decisions.
• Experience working with multinational teams or distributed organizations is advantageous.
