This executive role defines and leads the enterprise strategy for Data as a Product across a complex healthcare technology environment.
You will transform differentiated data assets, ecosystem capabilities, interoperability, and network scale into customer-facing products and new sources of enterprise value.
The position owns a broad portfolio spanning data products, APIs, interoperability, marketplace capabilities, monetization, and data-enabled AI solutions.
Reporting directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, you will influence corporate strategy, investment priorities, partnerships, and long-term growth initiatives.
You will lead and scale a senior product organization while aligning Product, Engineering, AI, Corporate Strategy, Legal, Go-to-Market, and Data teams.
The role combines strategic vision with financial and operational accountability, balancing customer value, commercial performance, regulatory requirements, and intellectual property protection.

Accountabilities:
- Define and lead the enterprise Data Products strategy, establishing a multi-year vision for Data as a Product aligned with corporate objectives, growth priorities, and market opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, and champion new business models and growth opportunities enabled by data assets, network scale, interoperability capabilities, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Serve as the executive sponsor for customer-facing data strategy and align priorities across Product, Engineering, AI, Corporate Strategy, Legal, Go-to-Market, and Data functions.
- Own the strategy, roadmap, performance, and long-term success of the data products portfolio, including customer-facing data products, APIs, interoperability services, marketplace capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Establish portfolio investment priorities, resource allocation decisions, success measures, and business outcomes that balance customer value, market opportunity, and financial performance.
- Drive adoption, customer value realization, commercial performance, and scalable growth through disciplined portfolio management and strategic execution.
- Lead enterprise strategies for data monetization, marketplace growth, ecosystem expansion, and related commercial opportunities.
- Define customer access models, API strategies, pricing frameworks, packaging approaches, and commercial models that support sustainable growth while protecting trust and intellectual property.
- Identify new revenue opportunities, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem capabilities that strengthen competitive positioning and expand customer value.
- Represent data strategy with executive stakeholders, customers, strategic partners, industry analysts, and relevant industry organizations.
- Lead executive-level discussions around data products, healthcare interoperability, marketplace participation, data monetization, and AI-enabled customer solutions.
- Build external relationships that influence product direction, market positioning, partnerships, and long-term growth opportunities across the healthcare technology landscape.
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing product leadership organization through senior leaders, including VPs and Directors.
- Establish succession planning, leadership development, talent strategies, and organizational capabilities across data products, APIs, ecosystem platforms, marketplace solutions, and monetization.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and execution excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across product management, technology, data products, platform strategy, enterprise software, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success defining and executing enterprise-level product, growth, or business strategies with measurable customer, operational, and financial impact.
- Proven experience leading large and complex product or technology organizations through multiple layers of leadership and developing senior leaders.
- Track record of leading enterprise transformation initiatives involving multiple functions, competing priorities, and significant organizational change.
- Deep expertise in data products, APIs, interoperability, marketplace and ecosystem strategies, data monetization, AI-enabled products, and data-driven business models.
- Strong strategic, financial, and operational acumen, including experience with portfolio-level investment decisions, business cases, risk management, and performance outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, shape investment decisions, and represent organizational strategy with customers, partners, analysts, and external stakeholders.
- Experience leading marketplace, ecosystem, platform, or data monetization strategies is highly preferred.
- Experience in healthcare technology, post-acute care, payer, provider, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
- Experience engaging with industry analysts, strategic partners, customer advisory groups, or external industry organizations is a plus.
- Ability to balance growth objectives, customer needs, regulatory requirements, privacy considerations, and intellectual property protection in a complex environment.
- Strong executive communication, strategic thinking, relationship-building, decision-making, and organizational leadership capabilities.
