Technical Program Manager – Cloud Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Program Manager - Cloud Platform based in India.

This is a high-impact technical program management role focused on driving the delivery and customer rollout of a growing cloud platform. You will coordinate complex initiatives across engineering, services, customer success, customers, and leadership to ensure programs move forward smoothly and on schedule. The role combines strong technical understanding with program ownership, product planning, documentation, and stakeholder management. You will help engineering teams stay focused by anticipating dependencies, securing decisions, and removing operational and coordination bottlenecks. You will also shape product roadmaps, prepare requirements, and ensure releases are clearly documented with relevant limitations and risks. Regular leadership reporting will give you visibility into delivery progress and strategic priorities. Accountabilities:

• Own the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of major cloud platform initiatives, including new product experiences, customer rollouts, migrations, and other strategic programs.
• Partner closely with Customer Success teams and customers to plan deployment schedules, sequence activities, manage dependencies, and remove blockers.
• Coordinate across engineering, services, customers, and leadership to ensure programs remain aligned with agreed timelines, priorities, and objectives.
• Take ownership of cross-functional coordination and operational overhead so engineering teams can remain focused on technical delivery.
• Build, maintain, and communicate a clear product and program roadmap aligned with business and customer priorities.
• Gather, consolidate, and structure product requirements from services teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure customer context, use cases, requirements, and specifications are prepared ahead of engineering cycles to minimize delays and ambiguity.
• Secure leadership approvals and decisions in advance so engineering teams have the clarity and authorization needed to execute.
• Own and maintain release notes and product documentation for features and capabilities delivered.
• Work with engineering teams to document intended behavior, known limitations, release caveats, and potential misuse risks for each release.
• Monitor program progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively coordinate mitigation plans.
• Prepare and publish regular leadership updates, including monthly reports covering engineering achievements, delivery progress, risks, and upcoming priorities.
• Act as a trusted bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring information flows clearly across the organization.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the cloud platform and engage hands-on with the product when necessary to guide programs effectively.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or a closely related technical delivery discipline.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex products, engage credibly with engineers, and effectively direct or coordinate technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to earn the confidence and respect of engineering teams through strong technical understanding, structured execution, and effective decision-making.
• Expert proficiency with Azure DevOps, including backlogs, boards, releases, work tracking, and program or project management workflows.
• Proven experience managing deadline-driven programs involving multiple stakeholder groups, including engineering, services, customers, and senior leadership.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, documentation, and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines simultaneously.
• Comfortable getting hands-on with technical products and understanding how features, integrations, and platform capabilities work in practice.
• Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements and actionable engineering priorities.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a SaaS or cloud platform environment is highly desirable.
• Exposure to release management, product operations, technical writing, or cloud platform delivery is an advantage.
• Strong ownership mindset, proactive approach to problem-solving, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work remotely across India, with flexibility to transition to an onsite working model in the future if required.
