SAP Concur Functional Analyst (Enterprise Applications)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Concur Functional Analyst (Enterprise Applications) based in India.

This is a hands-on enterprise applications role focused on the functional administration and ongoing support of SAP Concur and connected business systems. You will help ensure travel and expense processes run smoothly, accurately, and in line with organizational policies. The role combines application administration, configuration support, audit activities, testing, reporting, incident management, and user support. You will work closely with IT, Finance, Compliance, vendors, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and maintain reliable application operations. You will also contribute to system releases, UAT, process improvements, and documentation that enhance the user experience and operational efficiency. The position offers exposure to enterprise application ecosystems, integrations, and evolving AI-assisted support capabilities. It is well suited to a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving functional issues, supporting users, and continuously improving business processes.

Accountabilities:

• Administer and maintain the SAP Concur Expense platform, including user access, groups, permissions, workflows, configuration updates, and routine system maintenance.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Compliance, vendors, and other technology teams to investigate and resolve functional and technical Concur issues.
• Monitor platform updates and enhancements and support the assessment, testing, and adoption of relevant system changes.
• Review and support employee expense reports, ensuring appropriate processing in line with established procedures and business requirements.
• Validate receipts, expense coding, required documentation, and policy compliance, identifying discrepancies and incomplete submissions.
• Support Concur Audit and Verify processes by identifying potential policy violations, inconsistencies, and other exceptions and routing them for appropriate resolution.
• Support reconciliation of corporate credit card transactions, travel expenses, and related financial data where applicable.
• Triage, investigate, resolve, or escalate Concur and enterprise application requests and incidents through ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
• Provide timely user support, troubleshooting assistance, and guidance on Concur processes and functionality.
• Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, training materials, troubleshooting documentation, and operational playbooks.
• Generate and maintain Concur reports that provide visibility into expense trends, operational issues, compliance, and other relevant metrics.
• Support UAT, regression testing, release readiness activities, deployment checklists, and post-release validation.
• Identify recurring issues, sources of rework, and manual processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Support functional administration and operational activities for other enterprise applications as assigned.
• Explore and support the use of AI-assisted solutions to streamline application support, improve issue resolution, enhance the user experience, and reduce repetitive manual activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience administering or supporting SAP Concur Expense Management.
• 2+ years of experience supporting Concur integrations with connected systems, including platforms such as MedPro, Veeva, or similar enterprise applications.
• 2+ years of experience auditing expense reports, validating receipts, reviewing expense coding, and supporting travel and expense compliance processes.
• 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or integrating finance and application data across enterprise systems.
• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow, enterprise ticketing platforms, reporting tools, or application support processes.
• Strong understanding of functional application support, incident management, testing, and controlled change processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and investigate issues systematically.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support users and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to follow structured support procedures while exercising sound judgment when investigating and resolving issues.
• Concur Administration certification or relevant SAP Concur training is preferred.
• Experience with application testing, UAT, regression testing, or offshore support delivery is an advantage.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve enterprise application support, automate repetitive tasks, or accelerate issue resolution is a plus.
• Experience within life sciences, healthcare, client-facing operations, shared services, or managed service environments is desirable.
• Strong customer-service mindset, ownership, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively within distributed teams.
