UX Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UX Designer based in India.

As a UX Designer, you will shape intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly experiences across complex web applications. You will work at the intersection of user experience, product strategy, and frontend development, partnering closely with product, engineering, business, and design teams. Your work will span research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and implementation. You will help translate user insights and business requirements into functional, polished, and visually compelling product experiences. The role offers an opportunity to influence product strategy while working on modern web applications built with technologies such as React and Laravel. You will also champion accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and consistency across the user experience. This is a collaborative, high-ownership role for a designer who enjoys solving complex problems and turning ideas into impactful digital products.

Accountabilities:

• Lead UX design activities and ensure design requirements are addressed throughout the product design process.
• Partner with team leads, Product Managers, business stakeholders, engineers, and designers to take features from research and discovery through design and implementation.
• Contribute to the UX roadmap and identify opportunities to improve product capabilities and user experiences.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, interviews, and feedback-gathering activities to understand user needs and validate design decisions.
• Translate user research and insights into actionable design improvements and product strategy recommendations.
• Create wireframes, workflows, prototypes, mockups, and interactive experiences that effectively communicate proposed solutions.
• Build consensus across business stakeholders, customers, product teams, and engineering teams to align on user experience priorities.
• Regularly audit existing and upcoming platform features to identify usability, accessibility, consistency, and interaction improvements.
• Facilitate UX design workshops and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the design and development lifecycle.
• Create polished and visually engaging interfaces that balance usability, business objectives, technical feasibility, and user needs.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
• Optimize user experiences for responsiveness, accessibility, performance, and usability across devices and platforms.
• Help establish and maintain consistent design patterns and experiences across web applications.
• Present design concepts, research findings, recommendations, and prototypes to stakeholders and senior decision-makers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX Design, preferably within a product-focused organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX and product design work for enterprise software, self-service platforms, or other complex web applications.
• Strong expertise in creating wireframes, workflows, prototypes, mockups, and interactive experiences.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience designing complex web products with multiple user journeys, workflows, and functional requirements.
• Strong strategic and creative thinking, with the ability to turn concepts into functional, visually polished, and engaging product experiences.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing and using findings to inform product and design decisions.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, usability, and web application interaction patterns.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries with product, engineering, business, and design stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and product strategy.
• Experience working closely with developers and understanding modern web application development is an advantage.
• Familiarity with React, Laravel, PHP, AWS, or comparable web technologies is a plus.
