This senior finance leadership role will own financial strategy and operations across U.S. and Mexico-based activities.
You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, shaping the processes, models, and controls that support sustainable growth.
The role provides executive leadership with forward-looking financial insights to guide investments, expansion, staffing, pricing, and operational decisions.
You’ll oversee planning, forecasting, cash flow, profitability analysis, financial reporting, and financial performance management.
A key focus will be strengthening financial infrastructure and optimizing the flow of funds across two countries.
You’ll work closely with accounting, payroll, HR, operations, external advisors, and executive leadership.

Accountabilities
Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance management across U.S. and Mexico operations.
Own budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial reporting, and forward-looking financial analysis.
Build and maintain financial models that support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and executive decision-making.
Analyze profitability, operating costs, revenue trends, margins, and opportunities to improve financial efficiency.
Establish meaningful financial KPIs and provide clear, timely reporting and insights to executive leadership.
Evaluate the financial impact of staffing decisions, expansion initiatives, investments, pricing strategies, and operational changes.
Identify financial risks, assess potential business impacts, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Optimize financial processes and the flow of funds between U.S. and Mexico operations.
Establish and improve financial controls, reporting structures, procedures, and operational processes.
Ensure financial information is accurate, timely, accessible, and actionable for business leaders.
Partner closely with accounting, payroll, HR, operations, and executive teams to align financial priorities with business objectives.
Coordinate with external accountants, CPAs, tax professionals, banking partners, and other financial advisors.
Monitor relevant financial and compliance considerations affecting U.S. and Mexico operations in collaboration with appropriate professional advisors.
Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary costs, improve margins, and increase overall financial efficiency.
Take ownership of strategic finance projects from initial analysis and planning through implementation and completion.
Provide leadership with proactive recommendations and business insights rather than focusing solely on historical reporting.
8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or financial leadership.
Previous experience in a senior finance position such as Director of Finance, Vice President of Finance, CFO, or a comparable leadership role.
Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
Experience supporting U.S. and Mexican financial operations is strongly preferred.
Ability to interpret complex financial information and translate it into clear, practical business recommendations.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Advanced proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling.
Experience with accounting, ERP, financial reporting, and business finance systems.
Strong understanding of financial controls, profitability analysis, operating expenses, and business performance metrics.
Excellent English communication skills; Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred.
Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
High level of ownership, accountability, initiative, and business judgment.
Comfortable challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities and risks, and communicating clear recommendations to executive leadership.
