Your Responsibilities
As an Embedded Software Engineer with John Deere ISG, you will:
- Join the core team developing Deere’s first autonomous solutions.
- You will create autonomy features for equipment from concept through production, solve complex software-system challenges, ensure quality, resolve defects, and continuously improve guidance and autonomy system software.

What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of software development experience
- 2 or more years of electronic system design, development, and validation of embedded software
- Knowledge of components used in embedded systems, including microcontrollers, operating systems, sensors, and actuators
What Makes You Stand Out
- Knowledge of production agricultural practices and machinery
- Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with Qt and standard libraries
- Advanced degree in computer science or electrical engineering
- Experience with agricultural, construction, or similar off-highway vehicles
- Experience with CAN and Ethernet networks
- Experience using MATLAB and Simulink
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural, Electrical, Computer, Software Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
