The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As aPart time Student Manufacturing Engineer for Foundry Operations located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will:
- Participate in developmental assignments to gain Foundry experience.
- Learn how to identify, analyze, and apply information to support issue resolution.
- Assist in investigations and corrective actions and leverage innovative ideas to improve manufacturing issues.
This position is not available to students on immigration visas
What Skills You Need
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering/Technology or a related technical field
- Must be registered as a full-time student at local US accredited university/college
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and have a collaborative mindset
- Graduation date of May 2028 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
- Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
- Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, IA on a daily basis year-round

- Experience with Modeling software

$15 - $40 hourly based on published rates for business function and education level.
