Your Responsibilities
As aPV&V Engineer - Drivetrain forJD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque,IA, you will be:
- Work closely with cross functional teams to verify and validate drivetrain components and systems to customer requirements
- Execute test and analysis plans for product verification and validation throughout all phases of projects
- Partner with product development teams to identify creative and efficient solutions to resolve technical issues
- Gain experience with Construction and Forestry equipment

What Skills You Need
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Engineering experience obtained through projects, internships, or practical work experience
- Basic knowledge of mechanical system dynamics, especially as related to powertrain and drivetrain systems
- Ability to clearly communicate technical data and project updates through written reports and meeting presentations
- Desire to learn from others in a team environment
- Willingness to travel up to 5% (both domestic and international)
What Makes You Standout
- Knowledge and experience in test and evaluation
- Design or application experience with drivetrain systems
- Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis tools
- Advanced data analysis or computer programming skills
- Effective time management skills demonstrated within a multi-functional team
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent related work experience
