What will you do Electrical Designer -Creo-Schematics The candidate will be part of the team responsible for product development and sustenance of JCI Applied chiller products. He/she will have the skills that will meet the job demands for this year’s projects. The candidate must possess the ability to “self-start” with limited guidance. The candidate will work alongside other engineering teams, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, product engineering and IT-related personnel. The primary focus for this candidate will be design & development schematic design for electrical systems for chillers, component selection based on system requirements, load calculation, feature application and design review with product engineers. Ensuring quality and timeliness design releases of the assigned projects.
How will you do it :
- Understand the electrical schematics design requirement for control panel for Applied equipment’s in HVAC system and overall project scope.
- Provides work estimates; plans and controls design and delivery of the project to meet objectives for project/system standards, quality, reliability and performance. Responsible for the design & Development of electrical control panels, select electrical equipment with load calculation and component sizes.
- Application wise panel building & selection of equipment with UL standard. Create load list for complete panel, application engineering.
- A creative flair and design ability as per application. Analyze the power circuits, MCC, VFD, Controllers, overload relays, Junction boxes.
- Follow standard procedures and practices for engineering works.
- Work in coordination with project lead, product design team and overseas client. Ensuring quality and timely delivery of assigned work.
- Travelling onsite for prototype testing and coordination if required.
What we look for Required :
- BE (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation) or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical schematics design, selection of panel equipment as per regulatory standard.
- Must be able to work proficiently in the Creo schematics (2D & 3D) design tool, AutoCAD & Windchill.
- Experience with BOM structure, engineering change process, PLM, SAP & Windchill.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment selection and finalize for panel building.
- Good design knowledge of various equipment’s selection like Disconnect switches, power terminal blocks, Fuses, MCB, Controllers, VFD, Application engineering.
- Design and development of electrical control panels and enclosures as per manufacturing needs.
- Proven experience as team player, Strong communication skills.
