Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for welding-related failures.
Coordinate and review NDT activities including RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT inspections.
Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII, ASME Section IX, TEMA, AWS, PED, and customer requirements.
Select appropriate welding processes such as GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG/MAG), SMAW, FCAW, SAW, and Brazing based on application requirements.
Establish welding parameters to achieve required mechanical properties and quality standards.
Evaluate and introduce new welding technologies, consumables, and automation solutions. Production Support
Provide technical guidance to fabrication and production teams.
Resolve welding-related manufacturing issues, defects, and process deviations.
Monitor welding productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Support new product development and technology transfer activities.
Welding Metallurgy / Weld Distortion Control /Heat Treatment Monitoring Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, ISO, EN, PED, and customer-specific requirements.
Perform root cause analysis for welding defects such as porosity, cracks, lack of fusion, undercut, and distortion.
Review NDT reports including RT, UT, PT, MT, and VT.
Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for welding quality issues. Supplier & Vendor Development
Conduct supplier audits and welding process assessments. Review vendor welding procedures and qualification records.
