Account Manager
Grow revenue and deepen relationships across a portfolio of key accounts, proactively identifying and closing sales opportunities while ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and a commercial, results-driven approach to account management.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as the main point of contact for all client inquiries and requests.
Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with clients to assess satisfaction levels, identify new opportunities, and address any concerns.
Account Growth and Revenue Generation
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue.
Develop and implement account plans to drive growth and meet sales targets
Strategic Account Planning
Develop strategic account plans aligned with client goals and objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and offerings to meet the unique needs of each client.
Forecasting and Reporting
Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on account performance to senior management.
Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
Issue Resolution and Client Support
Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure that client needs are met and expectations are exceeded at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in media sales, account
management or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute
account plans.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets
and objectives.
- Commercially confident - proactively pitches
incremental revenue within existing accounts and is
comfortable asking for the business.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client
relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Google suite and
Microsoft Office suite.
- Working knowledge of programmatic trading
(PMP/DSP-SSP, e.g. Vistar) and confidence
engaging agency trading desks beneficial.
