What this job involves:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical systems including HV / LV switchgear, UPS, generators etc.
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize system uptime an redundancy
- Respond swiftly to electrical faults and alarms with rigous root cause analysis and resolution
- Support commissioning updgrades, and CAPEX projects for infrastructure scalability
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, statutory regulations, and operational SLAs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize energy use and support sustainability goals
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data centre or critical facility electrical systems
- REW B0 / C0 is required
- In-depth knowledge of UPS, backup generators, switchgear, and power distribution architectures
- Facility with BMS / DCIM tools and electrical safety standards
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a high-availability
