What this job involves

The Facilities Assistant (EHS) supports daily waste management activities, vendor coordination, work permit administration, and basic Facilities administrative tasks across assigned sites.

The role will work closely with the Facilities team to support site operations and ensure waste collection activities are completed smoothly and safely.

Waste Management & Environmental Support

• Coordinate waste collection and recycling activities across assigned sites.
• Support disposal arrangements for general waste, paper, wood, and other business waste.
• Arrange collection schedules with vendors.
• Track waste collection records and related documentation.
• Update waste weight records and reporting logs.
• Support waste-related administrative work.

Vendor Coordination & Site Support

• Submit and track work permit and JSA applications.
• Coordinate vendor access, EHS required training registration, and collection work schedules.
• Escort vendors during on-site activities when required.
• Support on-site supervision of waste collection activities.
• Remind vendors to follow site safety requirements and procedures.
• Follow up work completion status and ensure work areas are restored after activities are completed.
• Report any issues to the Facilities team.

Facilities Administrative Support

• Maintain Facilities and EHS documents and records.
• Update reports, logs, and tracking files.
• Process sign-off documents and filing.
• Assist Facilities Coordinators with routine site operations and project support.
• Support other administrative tasks assigned by the Facilities team.

Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

• Diploma or above with relevant experience
• Occupational Safety & Health related background or certification is a plus but not required. Training will be provided if needed.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
