What this job involves:
As Facilities Manager, you'll serve as the single point of contact responsible for integrated facilities management of a 12-story corporate headquarters building, working closely with the account leadership team to deliver exceptional facility management services. You'll coordinate client requirements, manage service delivery, and ensure satisfaction while supporting the implementation of strategic short and long-term projects. This role requires you to develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest standards of performance. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way, and you'll play a vital role in managing a complex budget, overseeing vendor performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, tracking energy and sustainability savings, and maintaining seamless operations.
NOTE: this position is in the office 5 days a week.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Develop and execute annual facility management plans that align operations with client objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Lead facility projects from planning through execution-partnering with the PMO team on significant capital initiatives and directly managing onsite projects-while maintaining the operational excellence and professional environment required for corporate headquarters
- Manage capital and operating budgets through client collaboration, financial analysis, and regular variance reporting to ensure fiscal accountability
- Monitor, track, and report on site performance against account KPIs, including energy efficiency and sustainability metrics supporting the client's 2030 greenhouse gas reduction targets
- Partner with the maintenance manager to direct facilities staff in achieving service level response times within budget while maintaining high client satisfaction
- Direct vendor performance and contractor activities during standard operations and critical after-hours periods to maintain 24/7 operational readiness
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of facilities management experience in corporate environments or third-party service provider roles, with demonstrated success managing complex, multi-faceted operations
- Proven leadership ability in matrixed organizations, including successful oversight of technical staff, administrative teams, and vendor partnerships
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and CMMS/Work Order systems
- Strong financial acumen including budget development, management, and variance reporting
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), or FMP (Facility Management Professional)
- Comprehensive knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical/power distribution, audiovisual/conference room technology, security systems, and emergency preparedness protocols for corporate headquarters environments
- Financial management experience including P&L responsibility, capital planning, and facility lifecycle cost analysis
- Experience supporting C-suite and executive-level clients in corporate headquarters settings
