JOB DESCRIPTION - PROJECT LEAD (Electrical) - Data Center/Mixed Use Development
Position Summary
As a Project Lead - Electrical at JLL, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical, aspects of Data Center/Mixed Use Development This role requires strong technical expertise combined with project management skills to ensure successful delivery of MEPF services within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and installation activities for Data Center/Mixed Use Development
- Review and validate Electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of Electrical systems
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, RFIs, and change orders
- Develop and manage project schedules for Electrical works
- Perform cost analysis and budget management for Electrical components
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Participate in client meetings to discuss technical requirements and provide expert advice
- Manage commissioning and testing of Electrical systems
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project handover
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in Electrical engineering with specific focus on Data Center/Mixed Use Development
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, p in commercial environments
- Knowledge of building automation systems and energy-efficient design practices
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards
- Proven track record of successful MEP project delivery
- Experience with MEP coordination tools and BIM software
Required Skills
- Technical expertise in Electrical systems for Data Center/Mixed Use Development
- Project management skills including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting MEP systems
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient design
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineering license or certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with sustainable building practices and certification processes (LEED, WELL, etc.)
- Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Experience with construction management software
Working Conditions
- Occasionally required to work outside normal business hours to accommodate project schedules
