Specialist, Strategic Sourcing - JLL

What this job involves:

As a Specialist in Strategic Sourcing, you will execute high-volume indirect commodity sourcing for a unique USPS Master Service Agreement (MSA) requiring expertise in federal procurement regulations and rapid-cycle RFP execution. This remote role focuses on sourcing services across up to 30,000 sites with short turnaround times-often 1 to 14 days from issuance to award. You will manage large data sets, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with USPS Procurement Policy and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Your analytical skills and sourcing expertise will directly support operational excellence and client satisfaction while contributing to JLL's mission of delivering transformative real estate solutions.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Execute indirect commodity sourcing RFPs for local, regional, and national initiatives covering up to 30,000 sites with cycle times ranging from several days to several weeks
• Manage large data sets for procurement and auditing purposes, ensuring data accuracy of equipment inventory descriptions and pricing
• Manage supplier relationships related to negotiations, contract administration, and operational issues while maintaining procurement standards across the portfolio
• Support the Sourcing Manager with communication, coordination, and implementation of indirect sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations
• Ensure all contractual terms comply with the MSA and coordinate with Legal and Risk Management for formal review and approval of proposed changes
• Oversee maintenance and enhancement of the central sourcing access database, ensuring data integrity and supporting data analytics for improved decision-making
• Identify and communicate opportunities to streamline indirect sourcing processes and support achievement of all account KPIs, goals, and objectives

Required Qualifications:

• College degree and/or 3+ years of related sourcing or procurement experience
• Demonstrated experience executing high-volume sourcing with 3,000+ annual transactions and managing short-cycle RFP activities (1 to 14 days)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of USPS Procurement Policy or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Experience sourcing hard and soft services including Landscaping & Snow Removal, Fire Life Safety, and Elevators
• Familiarity with federal or government procurement processes and compliance requirements
• Experience managing transition plans for new suppliers in collaboration with operations teams
• Proficiency in conducting supplier scorecards, performance review meetings, and contract compliance audits
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and demonstrated skills in Access, data management, and analytical tools (Smartsheets, Tableau, SQL)
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Best Practices, Supplier Performance Management, and contract compliance standards
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written) with proven ability to manage change and deliver results in challenging environments
• Ability to manage large volumes of data, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, and maintain data integrity across sourcing databases
• Proven ability to work successfully in a decentralized, remote environment with minimal field representation

Expected compensation for this position:

73,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD per year

Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
