SUMMARY:
A giant leader in the telecoms industry are looking to appoint a Release Train Engineer - Merchant Delivery
The role translates agreed product priorities into an integrated delivery plan, with clear milestones, dependencies, resource requirements and release commitments. It manages execution from discovery and planning through development, integration, testing, market readiness, launch and post-launch stabilisation.
Working within the scaled agile framework (SAFe), you will perform all aspects of the Release Train Engineer role. This includes being accountable for, and facilitating the execution of, ART processes. Your role will be to manage impediments, escalating, when necessary, to manage risk, to help ensure value delivery and help drive relentless improvement within your Agile Release Train and across your teams. You will also have an opportunity to directly support our Lean-Agile Transformation to the MPA Target Operating model, helping to coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters and develop the “agile mindset”.
Success means delivering reliable merchant capabilities at pace, with the technical, operational and market readiness needed to support adoption and business value.
POSITION INFO:
Must have technical \/ professional qualifications: Educated to degree level in STEM or equivalent working experience. Proven track record for successful delivery of products Working cross-functionally with business and IT Contagious passion for, and commitment to, driving mobile money growth and innovation. Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills to support work in reactive and proactive environments. Strong understanding of local and global payment capabilities and technologies Commit to understand the end to end solution and system at high level with all relevant use cases of system which is under RTE Ability to demonstrate and present systems\/software managed by RTE in order to provide suggestion for optimsation. Relevant certified Scrum Master qualification, for example, SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent 3 - 5 years' experience as a Delivery Manager and \/ or RTE
