Experience Design Senior Associate

As an Experience Design Senior Associate in CIB’s Digital Enablement team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products and services by leveraging your advanced knowledge of experience design principles. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, create innovative, inclusive, and accessible solutions that cater to a diverse range of users. As a core contributor, align user needs with business goals. Your strong understanding of the financial services industry and JPMC's IT systems will contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings, navigating complex problems and driving strategic thinking. Job responsibilities

• Design and execute design/research for complex projects and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs across multiple product areas
• Apply advanced knowledge of information architecture and storyboarding to create user-centric designs that enhance navigation, findability, and overall user satisfaction
• Assist in the analysis of market trends, user research studies, and user behavior analyses to inform design decisions and contribute to the team's strategic thinking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into the product development processes and ensure seamless and customer-centric solutions
• Simplify complicated information and processes into elegant experiences.
• Conduct data-driven analyses to inform design decisions and use data to transform raw information into valuable insights to inform decision-making
• Diagram user experience flows and product features, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints as you lead end-to-end design initiatives within a specific domain.
• Ensure the adoption of inclusive design practices and accessibility guidelines, mentor junior designers and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design, strategic design or similar roles
• Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite)
• Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing complex user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels
• Previous experience interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable insights for informed decision-making
• Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences
• Demonstrated ability in translating complicated concepts into tangible and understandable artefacts
• Demonstrated experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines, with the ability to incorporate diverse perspectives and abilities into design solutions
• Ability and ambition to develop experiences that meet or exceed the initial proposal of a product or experience
• Proven experience designing complex B2B / enterprise or fintech SaaS products (multi persona, roles/permissions, complex systems and environments).
• Experience with User Research methods and can conduct their own research and testing when required
