Join the Legal Finance & Business Management team and help drive financial management, reporting, and strategic initiatives across the Legal organization. You will partner closely with senior leaders and stakeholderstodeliverfinancialinsights,executivereporting,andbusinessmanagementsupport.Thisroleoffersexposuretoabroadrangeofactivitieswhileprovidingopportunitiestoimproveprocesses,developmeaningfulmetrics,andsupportkeybusinessdecisions.
As a Finance & Business Management Associate in the Legal Finance team, you will partner closely with the Senior Business Manager, Head of Human Resources Law, and other Practice Group Heads supporting Litigation. You will provide strategic and operational supportthroughfinancialplanning,expensemanagement,reporting,businessanalysis,andexecutivepresentations.YouwillcollaboratewithstakeholdersacrossLegaltounderstandbusinessneeds,developactionableinsights,andsupporteffectivedecision-making.
JobResponsibilities
- Providesupportforexecutiveadhocrequestsrelatedtoprojectmanagement,presentationdevelopment,andbusinessanalysisbypartneringwithLegalstakeholderstounderstandreportingneedsanddeliveranalysis
- Organizecomplexinformationintostrategicandcompellingpresentations,reports,anddashboardsusingMicrosoftExcel,PowerPoint,andartificialintelligencetools
- SupporttheHeadofHumanResourcesLawbyconsolidatinginformationacrossgroupsmanagedbytheteam
- Assistwithglobalbudgetplanning,ongoingexpenseforecasting,andheadcounttrackingforHumanResourcesLawtosupporteffectiveresourceallocation
- Analyzeoutsidecounselspendandprovideactionableinsightstoseniorleadership
- DevelopHumanResourcesLawandImmigrationmetricstosupportbusinessperformancemanagement
- ManageinternalandexternalexpensetrackingandreportingforHumanResourcesLaw,deliveringclearandconciseinformationtoseniormanagement
- Managerequestsrelatedtolegalentityauditsandregulatoryreporting
- Supportrequestsforproposals,litigationmatterreporting,anddiscoverymanagement
- Plananddevelopmaterialsforbusinessreviews,townhalls,off-sites,stakeholdermeetings,employeerecognition,andstrategysessions
- Collaboratewithbusinesspartnersandteammemberstodriveprojectsforwardandidentifyopportunitiestosimplify,improve,andaddvaluetoexistingprocesses
RequiredQualifications,Capabilities,and Skills
- Bachelor’sdegreeinBusiness,Finance,Economics,orarelatedfield
- 3yearsofexperienceinBusinessManagement,Finance,orarelatedfield
- Experiencedeliveringtimely,high-qualitypresentationsandreportingforprojectsandstakeholders
- Experienceanalyzingfinancialandbusinessinformationandevaluatingthefinancialimplicationsofstructuralorprocesschanges
- Experienceworkingacrossdifferentstakeholdergroupsandsupportingexecutionofbusinesspriorities
- Strongcommunication,organizational,andprojectmanagementskills
- Experiencedevelopingpresentationsandcommunicatingtherationalebehindreportinganddesigndecisions
- AdvancedproficiencyinMicrosoftExcel,includinglookups,pivottables,charts,andconditionalformatting
- ExperiencewithfinancialreportingandanalyticssystemssuchasSigma,Tableau,Alteryx,BusinessObjects,orThoughtSpot
- Experienceidentifyingissues,developingsolutions,escalatingwhenappropriate,andcommunicatingwithstakeholders
- Experienceproducingaccurateandtimelyreportinginvolvingcomplexdatasets,reconciliations,andqualityassurance
