Job Title: Quality Control Inspection Supervisor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The role ensures compliance with approved procedures, product specifications, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards, with emphasis on defect prevention, process compliance, internal audits, corrective action management, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify product conformity following rework or corrective action before recommending release
• Supervise the inspection of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Ensure that all products comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production processes to ensure they are operating within established quality parameters.
• Work with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
• Identify and report any deviations from quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with approved inspection plans, sampling procedures, and product specifications.
• Identify non-compliance with established procedures and qualty requirement.
• Supervise the inspection, implementation and visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including measurements, test results, and any defects or non-conformances.
• Verify allinspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of plastic raw materials and manufacturing Processes.
• Practical knowledge of injection moulding and blow moulding processes.
• Relevant quality management training or certification
• Previous experience supervising QC and QA personnel is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting.
• HND/ Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Materials Sciences or related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in QC and QA
• Knowledge of product inspection, sampling, testing equipment, defect analysis, and quality documentation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
