About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust infrastructure, streamlining deployment processes, and ensuring high availability across our production environments. You will work closely with developers and QA to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective software solutions.
Required Qualifications :
- Experience : 3 to 5 years of professional experience in DevOps.
- Cloud Expertise : Hands-on production experience on AWS.
- Scripting Languages : Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Mindset : Strong problem-solving skills, ability to own incident response, and a passion for automation.
Tech Stack :
- Container Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes.
- IaC : Terraform, Ansible.
- CI/CD : AWS Codepipeline, Jenkins.
- Observability : Cloudwatch, New Relic, Site 24-7, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana.
Key Responsibilities :
- CI/CD Optimization : Design, implement, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate code testing and deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Provision and manage cloud resources using modern IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to ensure environment consistency.
- Cloud & Container Management : Architect and manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) across major cloud platforms.
- AWS Services : EC2, ECR, EKS, Codepipeline, S3, ECS, CloudFormation, WAF, Media Services, API-Gateway, Cloudfront, Sagemaker, Bedrock, Developer tools.
- Monitoring & Alerting : Configure comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudFormation, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, New Relic, Site24) to maintain system health and fast incident resolution.
- System Administration & Automation : Write and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to eliminate manual deployment and configuration tasks.
- Security & Compliance : Integrate security best practices directly into the pipeline (DevSecOps), ensuring automated vulnerability scanning and compliance checks.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner closely with software developers to troubleshoot bugs, resolve deployment blockers, and refine software architectures.
Good to have Certification (not mandatory) :
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
